Kuki Shinobu is a 4-star sword-wielding Electro character in Genshin Impact. As the deputy leader of the Arataki Gang, she is the voice of reason that tries her best to keep the gang out of trouble. Kuki Shinobu brings powerful supporting abilities to her team, allowing her to heal and apply Electro from off-field.
Before you can bring Kuki Shinobu's full power to the fight, you'll need to upgrade her through Ascension. Let's take a look at each of the materials you'll need to Ascend her to the maximum level of 90, and where to find each of the materials needed.

Where To Find Kuki Shinobu's Ascension Materials
Vajrada Amethyst
Vajrada Amethyst Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones can be received by defeating Electro-based bosses and weekly bosses. The following bosses have a chance to drop these materials, and higher World Levels will drop higher tiers of the material.

Overall, the most reliable bosses for farming Vajrada Amethyst materials are the Electro Hypostasis and the Thunder Manifestation, as these bosses will always drop Vajrada Amethysts. Claiming rewards from any normal boss will cost 40 Original Resin, and can be challenged again after a few minutes.
Naku Weed
Naku Weed is an Inazuma specialty plant that grows near areas with high concentrations of Electro energy. While Naku Weeds can be found all over Inazuma, you'll find them more frequently on Seirai Island. Specialty plants respawn every 48 hours, so be sure to stay on top of gathering Naku Weeds to get enough to fully Ascend Kuki Shinobu.
Spectral Husk, Heart, and Nucleus
Spectral Husks, Spectral Hearts, and Spectral Nucleuses can be obtained by defeating Specter-type enemies in Inazuma. They are usually found in groups of two or three on Watatsumi Island and Seirai Island. Search around these areas every day to gather up Spectral materials for Kuki Shinobu.
Runic Fang
Runic Fangs drop from the Ruin Serpent normal boss, found in the depths of The Chasm in Liyue. Before you're able to access this boss, you'll have to complete the Chasm Delvers series of world quests.
Like other normal bosses, you'll have to spend 40 Original Resin to obtain rewards after defeating the Ruin Serpent. This boss will go underground throughout the fight, making it hard to hit consistently. We recommend bringing characters with high burst damage to kill the Serpent quickly when it emerges from the ground. In total, you'll need 46 Runic Fangs to fully ascend Kuki Shinobu, so expect to fight this boss quite a few times.
