Where To Find Mona’s Ascension Materials

Philanemo Mushrooms

Philanemo Mushrooms can be found on houses and Windmills in Monstadt City, Springvale, and Dawn Winery. They are easier to farm once you know where to look. You should know that Philanemo Mushrooms will grow on buildings that have some green plants growing on them. In the Monstatdt city, they can be found on the houses located near the border.

You can also buy Philanemo Mushrooms from Chloris the botanist in the Windrise area. If you have Klee in your party, you will be able to locate them easily using her Passive Talent. But if you are still having trouble finding them, you can use the Genshin Impact Interactive Map. To reach level 90, Mona requires x168 Philanemo Mushrooms.

Nectar

Nectar and its higher tier variants are dropped by elemental Whopperflowers found all across Tevyat. Currently, there are three types of Whopperflowers: Cryo, Pyro, and Electro. You can easily beat them using the appropriate elemental combos.

The easiest way to locate them is to go to the bosses' section in the Adventurer’s Handbook.

Fortunately, all three Whopperflowers drop the same materials. But the type of materials dropped depends on your World Level and the level of the Whopperflower that you are fighting. To reach level 90, Mona requires x18 Whoppflower Nectar, x30 Shimmering Nectar, and x36 Energy Nectar.

Cleansing Heart

Cleansing Heart is dropped by the Hydro Boss, Oceanid of Liyue. You can find this boss to the east of the Qingce Village. After fighting it, you will need 40 resin to actually receive all the rewards. So make sure you have enough resin or Fragile resin to claim them. To reach level 90, you will need x46 Cleansing Hearts.

Varunada Lazurite

Varunada Lazurite is the Hydro version of the Elemental Gems in Genshin Impact. These gems are dropped by the Hydro Bosses in the game. You can also obtain them as commission rewards and purchase a limited quantity through shops in Liyue and Inazuma. You will receive Varunada Lazurite gems from the Oceanid when you defeat it.

However, the quality of the drops depends on your World level. Use this chart for reference:

World Level Varunada Lazurite Dropped By Hydro Bosses
0+ Slivers
2+ Slivers, Fragments
4+ Slivers, Fragments, Chunks
6+ Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, Gemstones
