Diluc is a Pyro-user in the Genshin Impact world, part of the wealthy Ragnvirdr Clan. He currently owns and operates the Dawn Winery, and though he’s severed his relationship with the Knights of Favonius, he still fearlessly protects Mondstadt in his spare time a la Batman/Bruce Wayne.

He’s an extremely rare five-star character — only obtainable through Wishes — whose weapon of choice is the Claymore. He’s incredibly strong with his hitting damage in attacks, making him an ideal main DPS in a team setting. Due to his strength, you’re going to want to pick a weapon for him that maximizes his Pyro abilities, and generally highlight his heavy-hitting skills.

13/13 The Skyrider Greatsword - Three Star

The easiest to obtain, the Skyrider Greatsword can be found in chests throughout the game, as well as hidden in a rock in the Guyun Stone Forest. Though a three-star weapon, it’s a great choice for a Diluc on a budget. He’ll get a physical damage bonus between 9.6 percent and 43.9 percent, depending on the level you have him trained to in the game.

He’ll also get an increase to his Normal and Charged Attacks when he successfully hits an opponent. The bonus Attack strength will be by six percent, and last for six seconds, with a maximum of four stacks. This will occur on top of his Base Attack boost of 39 to 401, based on his level.

12/13 The Favonius Greatsword - Four Star

Available through Wishes, the Favonius Greatsword offers an Energy Recharge between 13.3 and 61.3 percent that Diluc will definitely need to recover from his powerful attacks. Crit hits will also have a 60 percent chance of producing Elemental Particles for Diluc that will, in turn, generate six energy every 12 seconds.

Despite being mostly about recouping lost stamina, the Favonius Greatsword does give Diluc a Base Attack bonus between 41 and 454, depending on his level one to 90.

11/13 The Royal Greatsword - Four Star

You’ll need to go through Paimon’s Bargains to get the Royal Greatsword, but it will be worth it. It will boost Diluc’s Base Attack to 44 if a lower level, all the way up to 565 if he’s maxed out at 90. The secondary stat is another Attack bonus between six percent and 27.6 percent, so you’re Diluc will be even stronger than he is normally.

If that isn’t enough, the Royal Greatsword also gives an increase to Crit rate after dealing out damage to any opponent. This increase is eight percent to his Crit rate, stackable up to five times.

10/13 The Whiteblind - Four Star

A four-star weapon you can forge at the blacksmith’s shop yourself, the Whiteblind is the handiest weapon to increase Diluc’s overall defense on the battlefield. He’ll get an 11.3 to 51.7 percent boost to defense just for having it equipped. He’ll also get an increase to Attack and Defense by six percent for six seconds (with a max stack of four times, the equivalent of 2 percent) after any hit by Normal or Charged Attacks.

Diluc’s Base Attack will also see a boost, depending on what level you’ve trained him to, between 42 and 510.

9/13 The Lithic Blade - Four Star

Harder to get than a lot of other weapons, the Lithic Blade is available through Weapon Event Wishes. If you snag it, you’ll get a boost to Diluc’s Base Attack between 42 and 510, and a substat Attack bonus of nine to 41.3 percent, making your strong Diluc even stronger.

When you equip Diluc with the Lithic Blade, however, you’ll want to focus on building his team around Liyue citizens because you’ll gain a seven percent Attack increase for every member in the party who is from there. Diluc will also get a three percent Crit rate boost, stackable up to four times.

8/13 The Sacrificial Greatsword - Four Star

The only way to get the Sacrificial Greatsword is through Wishes, though once you have it, you’ll get a Base Attack boost between 44 and 565. It also grants an Energy Recharge of 6.7 percent to 30.6 percent, which Diluc will need to stay out on the battlefield.

If you successfully damage an opponent with Diluc’s Elemental Skill, you’ll get a 40 percent chance of the Sacrificial Greatsword ending its own cooldown period every 30 seconds, which will also help keep him in the battle longer.

7/13 The Serpent Spine - Four Star

The Serpent Spine is regularly available through the Gnostic Hymn series in the Battle Pass. Though a bit harder to get, if you do get hold of it you'll see a Base Attack boost between 42 and 510 depending on what level your Diluc is. This Claymore has Crit Rate as a secondary stat, and that will increase anywhere from six percent to 27.6 percent, again based on level.

For every four seconds Diluc is on the battlefield, he'll inflict six percent more damage to targets, and take three percent more damage. This effect is stackable up to five times.

6/13 The Luxurious Sea-Lord - Four Star

Made available during the Moonlight Merriment Event, the Luxurious Sea-Lord is possibly the most unique weapon in all of Genshin Impact. Literally a giant, solidified fish, Diluc will get an increase to his Base Attack between 41 and 454. It also carries a secondary stat boost to Attack from 12 percent to 55.1 percent, depending on Diluc's level.

His Elemental Burst damage will increase by 12 percent, and any time he successfully uses his Elemental Burst there will be a 100 percent chance of unleashing tuna. Despite the hilarious imagery, this swarm of tuna will inflict 100 percent of Attack as AoE damage, and can occur every 15 seconds in battle.

5/13 The Rainslasher - Four Star

You can get the Rainslasher through Wishes, making it an odds game of whether you pull it or not, but it's well worth the hassle. With it, Diluc's Base Attack will go up by 42 to 510 based on his level in the game, and his Elemental Mastery will bump up between 36 and 165 with the secondary stat.

This weapon is especially handy for Diluc on a team with Hydro or Electro-users (or both!), because it will increase the damage dealt to targets affected by either of those elements by 20 percent.

4/13 The Prototype Archaic - Four Star

Another four-star weapon you can forge yourself at the blacksmith’s shop, the Prototype Archaic boosts Base Attack between 44 and 565, and has an extra Attack bonus between six percent and 27.6 percent. Though these bonuses are slighter compared to other weapons, it’s still a noteworthy Claymore.

When you hit an opponent, the Normal and Charged Attacks will have a 50 percent chance to deal an additional Attack Damage of 240 percent. This is for any enemies in the small Area of Effect and can occur once every 15 seconds.

3/13 The Skyward Pride - Five Star

A five-star weapon you can get through Wishes, the Skyward Pride offers an Energy Recharge between eight and 36.8 percent, depending on Diluc’s level. His Base Attack will increase anywhere from 48 to an impressive 674, again based on his level in the game.

Diluc will get an overall damage increase of eight percent after he uses his Elemental Burst, Normal, or Charged Attack. Upon hitting an enemy, this will create a Vacuum Blade, which doles out 80 percent of Attack as damage to any opponents in its path, and this will last for 20 seconds.

2/13 The Unforged - Five Star

If you get the Unforged through Weapon Event Wishes, it’s a great fit for Diluc because of its shield benefits. With an added 20 percent to Shield Strength — and Diluc needs all he can get — he’ll also get four percent increases on Attack hits against opponents for eight seconds, with a maximum stack of five times. When his shield is activated, he’ll get a 100 percent increase on Attack effects.

Even without the shield boosts, the Unforged offers Diluc beneficial increases to his stats. Base Attack gets a boost between 46 and 608, with another Attack bonus of 10.8 to 49.6 percent substat, as well.

1/13 The Wolf’s Gravestone - Five Star

Fairly accessible for a five-star weapon, this Claymore is obtainable through Wishes. It’s similar to the Unforged in terms of stat bonuses- like the Base Attack boost of 46 to 608, and the Attack substat increase between 10.8 to 49.6 percent.

Where these two differ is Wolf’s Gravestone increases Attack by 20 percent. Plus, any hits against opponents with less than 30 percent HP increases every team member’s Attack by 40 percent for 12 seconds.
