Genshin Impact has been a bit slow on introducing four-star characters in Inazuma. Luckily, Thoma is here to help fill in the pyro slot and bring some good housekeeping tips to his fans. If you're looking for a new spear user, then Thoma can be a great support unit, especially if you have Hu Tao on your team.
Thoma is also the first shield character introduced in months, making him a great choice for battle with the second half of La Signora's boss fight. To get the most out of Thoma though, you will need to equip him with the right gear.
Best Weapons For Thoma
Thoma is a character that works heavily around the health stat, making him similar to Hu Tao. If you plan to use him for a support build, then you are really going to want to concentrate on raising his health, as it will directly determine how strong his shields damage absorption is.
Below are three weapons that will work perfectly with Thoma:

Best Artifacts For Thoma
To round things out you will also need to equip Thoma with the proper five-star artifact set. The following sets are currently the most effective when using Thoma in battle:

The Emblem of Severed Fate set can be found in Inazuma inside of the Momiji-Dyed Court domain and the Crimson Witch of Flames can be found in Liyue inside of the Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula domain. You can combine both two-piece set effects if you feel that it would make Thoma work better with your team.
