Dungeon Walkthrough

When you first enter Brayflox's Longstop (Hard), you will be in a large open area, with nothing to stop you from running all the way to the first boss. However, just because you can, doesn't mean you should. There are several groups of enemies along the path, some with attacks that inflicts Paralysis or have high damage. If your party is up to it, you can pull as much as you are able.

In the second segment of the dungeon, after defeating the first boss, you will need to liberate three goblins that are trapped by the Illuminati. To free them, kill the Illuminati enemies in the area. After doing so, Brayflox will open a path to the second boss.

Illuminati Commander

The first boss of Brayflox's Longstop (Hard) is the Illuminati Commander, whose attacks and mechanics are detailed below.

  • Illuminati Sniper: The Illuminati Commander will summon Snipers to the arena throughout the fight. These enemies will target a player, continuously sniping them with moderate damage. Quickly kill the Snipers to prevent your party members from repeatedly taking damage.
  • Bomb Toss: The boss will deal damage in a circle AoE. Move outside the AoE indicator to avoid this attack.
  • Burst: The Illuminati Commander will toss several bombs into the air. When they land, the bombs will explode in a cross-shaped AoE, dealing high damage. Watch where the bombs land and move accordingly to avoid the array of line AoEs that appear around the arena.
    • As the fight progresses, the Commander will toss more bombs each time this attack is used. Be prepared to dodge a high number of bombs later in the fight.

The Illuminati Commander will repeat these attacks until it is defeated. Be sure to kill the Snipers as quickly as possible, as their attacks can be overwhelming if not dealt with quickly.

Magitek Vangob G-III

The second boss of Brayflox's Longstop (Hard) is the Magitek Vangob G-III. Throughout the fight, puddles of blue Ceruleum will appear around the arena. While these don't harm you if you step in them, they are used by one of the boss's mechanics later.

  • Drill Cannons: The Vangob will deal damage in a line AoE to its front. Move out of the AoE indicator to avoid taking damage.
  • Needle Burst: The Vangob will deal damage to all party members. Use AoE healing to recover.
  • Career: The boss will target a random player with a targeting reticle, then charge towards them, dealing damage along their path. The targeted player should move away from the rest of the party to avoid hitting them with this attack.
  • Oversurge: The Magitek Vangob will deal damage in a small point-blank AoE around itself, inflicting Paralysis. If the boss is standing on any of the Ceruleum puddles, they will explode when Oversurge is cast, dealing high damage. If you are fighting the boss on the puddles, quickly move away from them to avoid the explosion.
  • Illuminati Glider: These enemies will be summoned throughout the fight. The Illuminati Gliders will cast Bomb Toss, dealing damage in a circle AoE. Quickly move out of the AoE indicator to avoid the attack, then focus on killing the Gliders before returning to the boss.

The Magitek Vangob G-III will repeat these mechanics until it is defeated. Watch out for the Ceruleum puddle and Oversurge combo, as this can deal high damage if you're not careful.

Gobmachine G-VI

The final boss of Brayflox's Longstop (Hard) is the Gobmachine G-VI. This boss will use the following attacks and mechanics throughout the fight.

  • Flame Thrower: The Gobmachine will deal damage in a wide cone AoE to its front. The Tank should face the boss away from the rest of the party to avoid hitting them with this attack.
  • Bombardment: The Gobmachine will target a player with a circle AoE, dealing damage in the area. Move out of the AoE indicator to avoid this attack.
  • Hit and Run: Throughout the fight, the Gobmachine will increase its speed before beginning to drive laps around the edge of the arena, dealing damage to any player in its path. While in this phase, the boss will become untargetable, and it will summon Illuminati Snipers and Soldiers. The Snipers will use the same mechanic as the ones from the first boss, so be sure to deal with them first, while the Soldiers will use default attacks.
    • Bombs: While speeding around the arena, the boss will periodically stop and summon bombs, covering most of the arena. After a short delay, the bombs will explode, dealing high damage. To avoid the explosions, move to the center of the arena and use melee AoE attacks to knock the bombs back, creating a safe spot in the center of the arena. Remain here until the bombs explode and the boss becomes targetable again.
    • Later in the fight, the boss will summon one Giant Bomb instead of several small bombs. The Giant Bomb can't be knocked back, and must instead be destroyed. Quickly destroy the Giant Bomb to create a safe spot, then continue fighting the boss until it is defeated.

The Gobmachine G-VI will repeat these attacks until it is defeated. Later in the fight, more Snipers will be summoned, so be prepared to quickly defeat them. Work with your party to clear out the bombs, and you'll be able to destroy the Gobmachine.
