    • NPC Location: Alphinaud - The Dravanian Forelands (X:23.7, Y:19.6)

Dungeon Walkthrough

In the first section of this dungeon, you will encounter Drakespur enemies around the path. These will periodically summon Pollen Clusters, which deal damage and poison in the area when defeated. Clear these using ranged attacks as you progress to the first boss.

Later in the dungeon, a variety of dragons will appear and use AoE attacks aimed at your party. Watch out for these attacks as you deal with the surrounding trash mobs.

Raskovnik

The first boss of Sohm Al is Raskovnik, who will use the following attacks and mechanics.

  • Acid Rain: Targets all players with AoE markers. Spread out to avoid overlapping these while moving out of the AoE indicator.
  • Phytobeam: Rashovnik will deal damage in a line AoE to its front. Quickly move out of the AoE indicator to avoid taking damage.
  • Sweet Scent: Summons Dravanian Hornets around the edges of the arena that will begin moving slowly towards the boss. Soon after, the boss will cast Devour.
  • Flower Devour: The boss will target a random player with a yellow marker, indicating that they will soon be pulled near the boss. Shortly after the marker appears, the boss will create a point-blank AoE around itself, preparing to eat any Hornets or players in range, granting itself a stacking damage buff in the process. To avoid this combo, the player marked with the yellow marker should run to the edge of the arena to avoid being pulled directly into the boss.
    • Additionally, all players should kill the Hornets before they reach the boss to prevent it from gaining the damage buff.
  • Spit: Rashovnik will deal damage to all players. Use AoE heals to recover.

Raskovnik will repeat these attacks until it is defeated. This fight is pretty straightforward, but be sure to kill the Hornet enemies to avoid high party-wide damage.

Myath

The second boss of Sohm Al is Myath. This dinosaur will use the following attacks and mechanics.

  • Razor Scales: Myath will deal damage in a large frontal cone AoE. Move out of the AoE indicator to avoid taking damage.
  • Primordial Roar: The boss will deal damage to all players and summon two untargetable blue oozes and two untargetable red oozes. Then, the boss will cast Mad Dash, leaping towards each of the oozes and eating them for different effects.
    • Mad Dash - Blue: If the boss eats a blue ooze, a random player with be marked with a circle AoE marker. The affected player should move away from other party members to avoid hitting them with this attack.
    • Mad Dash - Red: If the boss eats a red ooze, a random player will be marked with a stack marker. All players should group up on the targeted player's position to spread out the damage of this AoE.
  • Chyme of the Mountain: During subsequent uses of Primordial Roar, a green Chyme of the Mountain ooze will also be summoned. This enemy will begin casting The Last Song, which deals extremely high damage to all party members. The Chyme of the Mountain should be focused on immediately when it spawns.

Myath will repeat these mechanics until it is defeated. Be sure to target the green ooze as soon as it spawns, and move accordingly when targeted by Mad Dash.

Tioman

The final boss of Sohm Al is Tioman. Throughout the fight, small comets will fall around the arena, creating circular AoEs where they land. Tioman's attacks and mechanics are detailed below.

  • Abyssic Buster: A large breath attack to the front of the boss. The Tank should face Tioman away from the rest of the party to avoid unnecessary damage.
  • Chaos Blast: Tioman will target a random spot on the arena with a series of intersecting line AoEs. Avoid this spot and the resulting line AoEs that appear.
  • Comet: Tioman will mark two players with green proximity markers. The affected players should move to the far edge of the arena to place the proximity markers, then quickly run to the opposite side to reduce the damage of the AoE.
    • Smaller comets will fall more frequently while this attack is occurring, so watch out for these AoEs as you move to the other side of the arena.
    • Later in the fight, Comet will target all players except the Tank. Be ready to move when the green proximity marker appears.
  • Wings Phase: At around 50 percent health, Tioman will move to the center of the arena and become untargetable. Then, her wings will begin to glow and become targetable while she repeatedly casts Heavensfall.
    • Heavensfall: Targets a random player and summons a series of circle AoEs around them. The targeted player should move away from the rest of the party while destroying the wings.
    • After both wings are destroyed, Tioman will become targetable again, and the fight will resume as normal.
  • Dark Star: Deals damage to all party members. Recover with AoE heals.

Tioman will repeat these mechanics until she is defeated. There are a lot of AoEs to watch out for during this fight, so be sure to move carefully.
