Participating in Hunts is an excellent way to earn EXP in Final Fantasy 14, with the Hunts found within the Shadowbringers and Endwalker expansions being the best. However, before getting to the Hunts found in those two expansions, you must first complete all the ones that lead up to them.

There's no shortage of content when it comes to Final Fantasy 14, but that only means there's a greater chance of you missing some rather essential side activities that can help you out tremendously. The Hunts are a prime example of that, as they are one of the best ways to power level Jobs in the game.

Prerequisites

Before diving into Veteran Clan Hunts, you must first take care of a few things beforehand. Additionally, while Hunts don't rely on your Grand Company anymore, you must still be at least a Second Lieutenant within your Grand Company because that is a requirement for "The Hunt" in A Realm Reborn.

Much like its Heavensward predecessor, Veteran Clan Hunts will require you to complete a few quests before you gain access to the more formidable Marks. These quests are not accessible until you reach a specific level or turn in other missions beforehand. Furthermore, you must complete every Veteran Clan Hunt Quest before moving onto Shadowbringers' Nutsy Clan Hunts.

Veteran Clan Hunt Requirements

  • Complete "Elite and Dangerous" (last Clan Hunt quest in Heavensward)
  • Own the Stormblood expansion
  • Be at least level 61 with any Disciple of War or Magic

Veteran Clan Hunt Missions

Upon meeting the above requirements, you will finally be able to participate in Veteran Clan Hunts. As touched on briefly, you must complete specific missions before you can take on the more challenging Hunts. There are four Veteran Clan Hunt Missions you should look out for to progress to the more rewarding Hunts and move onto Shadowbringers' Hunts later.

Stormblood Elite Marks

Veteran Clan Marks

There are three different Veteran Clan Marks in Stormblood, ranging from 1 to 3 Stars, and are gated by the quests mentioned above. Additionally, in Stormblood, there are two places for you to pick up Veteran Clan Marks. You can use the Veteran Clan Hunt Board in Rhalgr's Reach (X:13.1, Y:11.7) or Kugane (X:10.6, Y:10.3). Both boards share the same Veteran Clan Marks, so just choose the one you're more familiar with or closer to. Eliminating targets will reward you with Centurio Seals, EXP, and Gil, depending on the target and its level.

You can also take on Stormblood Elite Marks, which are tiered B, A, and S. Elite Marks are stronger, more formidable Hunts than the standard Veteran Clan Marks, making their payouts much better the higher their rank.

Veteran Clan Hunt Rewards

Reward B Tier A Tier S Tier
Centurio Seals N/A 40 100
Allagan Tomestone of Poetics N/A 30 100
Allagan Tomestone of Aphorism N/A 10 30

You can exchange your earned Centurio Seals by visiting Leuekin or Billebaut in Rhalgr's Reach (X:13.0, Y:11.7). You can also speak with Estrild or Satsuya in Kugane (X:10.3, Y:10.2) for the same thing. It's also important to note that while B-Tier Marks won't give you direct rewards, they can still get completed to go towards the Weekly Elite Mark Challenges. Beyond that challenge, however, we recommend avoiding them until the Weekly Reset kicks in and focusing your attention on the A-S Tier Marks for a guaranteed payout.

Furthermore, Veteran Clan Marks reset daily at 08:00 AM (PST) or 11:00 AM (EST), with Stormblood B-Tier Elite Marks resetting every week on Tuesday at 01:00 AM (PST) or 04:00 AM (EST). Tiers A and S of Elite Marks do not have any daily or weekly resets and, instead, are on a "kill on sight" basis. With that being said, A and S-Tier Elite Marks still have their own respawn timers, with S-Tier Marks needing a specific event to trigger their appearance.

Stormblood Elite Mark Information

Stormblood Elite Marks are very similar to its predecessors found in A Realm Reborn and Heavensward. Each of the Elite Marks are bound to their own respawn timer, with the S-Tier Marks needing you to trigger a specific event for them to appear. Keep in mind, once an S-Tier Mark is defeated, it will take quite some time for another one to respawn.

Every Stormblood Elite Mark will be listed below, along with their respective respawn time, location, and rank. Additionally, you will also find what event triggers the appearance of the S-Tier Marks, which can typically range from confusing to relatively easy but fun.
