In Endwalker's case, one of the best ways to get your hands on max-level gear is by augmenting your Lunar Envoy's Gear, which will take your iLevel from 620 to 630, giving you a substantial boost in stats for end-game content. Obtaining a complete set of Lunar Envoy's Gear takes lots of time and dedication, and that's not even including the time it takes to augment it. However, the end result is more than worth the effort.

Updated September 12, 2022, by Seth Parmer: Patch 6.2 is finally upon us, bringing in yet another Tomestone for us to chase after. This time, it's the Allagan Tomestones of Causality, which will allow us to purchase Lunar Envoy's Gear. We have updated this guide to include how to earn Tomestones of Causality and Lunar Envoy's equipment and how to augment them.

How To Obtain Radiant Gear

Before augmenting your gear, you will first need to obtain it, which will likely take more time than you think. You will need to get Radiant Gear, which is the equipment you can purchase with Allagan Tomestone of Astronomy from a vendor in Radz-at-Han. While this may seem simple enough, several twists will prevent you from getting a complete set of Radiant Gear without grinding out weekly and daily activities for several weeks. We will go over how to obtain Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy and how to use them to acquire Radiant Gear in the sections below!

How To Get Allagan Tomestones Of Astronomy

Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy are acquired in a variety of ways and are only obtainable when participating in Level 90 activities such as Raids, Trials, Dungeons, and several Daily Roulette Duties. Furthermore, filling out and turning in your Wondrous Tails journal as a Level 90 job can also net you Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy.

With the latest Patch 6.2 update, Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy are now uncapped, meaning you can earn as much of them as you'd like without waiting for the weekly reset. However, you can still only hold 2,000 of them at any given time, so be sure to spend them on gear or other items whenever you reach the limit. Additionally, the amount you earn from activities has also changed, and we have updated the list below accordingly. Remember, the Duty Roulette resets every day at 7:00 AM (PST)/10:00 AM (EST).

Expert x60 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy
Level 90 Dungeons x100 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy
Level 50/60/70/80 x120 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy

Alliance Raid x120 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy

Furthermore, the Aglaia Alliance Raid will reward you with 100 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy. Each circle of the Asphodelos Raid gives you ten each for a total of 40 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy. And lastly, the newest Abyssos Raid will drop 20 Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy per floor, adding up to 80 Tomestones for clearing all four floors. However, these can only be earned once a week, whereas the Duty Roulette resets daily.

How To Get Radiant Gear

Once you have accumulated enough Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy, it's time to cash them in for that sweet Radiant Gear. To do this, head on over to Radz-at-Han and speak to Cihanti (X:10.8, Y:10.4). However, to obtain a Radiant Weapon, you will also need one Discal Tomestone, which is acquired by exchanging four Unsung Blade of Asphodelos to either Djole at Radz-at-Han (X:10.3, Y:9.6) or Mylenie at Labyrinthos (X:8.3, Y:27.5). The Unsung Blade of Asphodelos is a guaranteed drop for completing Asphodelos: Fourth Circle and can only be obtained once per week.

How To Augment Radiant Gear

With Radiant Gear now in your possession, it's time to augment it and take it from iLevel 590 to 600. However, as you may have already predicted, it will not be that easy. While much more straightforward than what you have to go through to obtain the Radiant Gear, it is still excruciatingly time-consuming to augment several pieces of your equipment. The sections below will detail how to get Radiant Materials and use them to augment your Radiant Gear!

How To Get Radiant Materials

In order to augment your equipment, you will need to get your hands on Radiant Materials such as Radiant Twine, Radiant Coating, and Radiant Roborant. These materials are easily obtainable and can be purchased from specific merchants for Sacks of Nuts, Aglaia Coins, or Volumes of Asphodelos Mythos. The table below will provide you with where to find each Radiant Material, where to get them, and what you can exchange to get them!

The Aglaia Coin and Asphodelos Mythos II and III are dropped once per week and are guaranteed rewards for completing their respective activity.

How To Augment Radiant Gear

With your desired Radiant Materials in hand, you can finally put them to use and augment your Radiant Gear! For this, you will have to go to Radz-at-Han and speak with Khaldeen (X:10.9, Y:10.4). You will only need one piece of Radiant Gear and its corresponding Radiant Material to augment it, allowing you to stock up on Radiant Materials in advance as you farm out your Radiant Gear. You can find the equipment type and its designated material below!

Augmented Radiant's Armor

Augmented Radiant's Armor is obtained when exchanging one piece of Radiant's Armor and one Radiant Twine. Whichever Radiant Armor piece you hand in, you will receive it back at iLevel 600.

  • x1 Radiant's Armor Piece (Helmet, Chest, Arms, Legs, Feet)
  • x1 Radiant Twine
  • iLevel 590 > iLevel 600

Augmented Radiant's Accessories

To obtain Augmented Radiant's Accessories, you will have to exchange one piece of Radiant's Accessory and one Radiant Coating. The type of accessory you turn in will be handed back to you, augmented at iLevel 600.

  • x1 Radiant's Accessory (Earrings, Necklace, Bracelets, Rings)
  • x1 Radiant Coating
  • iLevel 590 > iLevel 600

Augmented Radiant's Weapons

Last and certainly not least are the Augmented Radiant's Weapons, which require one Radiant's Weapon and one Radiant Roborant, upgrading it from iLevel 590 to 600. Though, it's important to note that Paladins need to exchange both their Radiant's Bastard Sword and Radiant's Shield along with one Radiant Roborant to augment their weapon.

  • x1 Radiant's Weapon
  • x1 Radiant Roborant
  • iLevel 590 > iLevel 600

Patch 6.18 now allows you to purchase Radiant Roborant with Aglaia Coins, making it less of a hassle to Augment your Radiant's Weapon. While you will still need one Discal Tomestone to obtain a Radiant's Weapon, upgrading it to iLevel 600 is far less daunting and time-consuming. For more information, please check out the "How To Get Radiant Materials" section above!

How To Obtain Lunar Envoy's Gear

Patch 6.2 has introduced yet another Tomestone for you to grind away at to obtain: the Allagan Tomestones of Causality. These Tomestones will allow you to purchase powerful gear, Lunar Envoy's, the newest and best high-level equipment you can get, save for the Savage Raid.

While you can obtain these Tomestones by completing various activities, you can only earn 450 Allagan Tomestones of Causality a week and can only hold up to 2,000 at a given time. This means it will take quite a while before you can get a complete set of Lunar Envoy's Gear. So, with all that out of the way, let's get into how you can earn these Tomestones!

How To Get Allagan Tomestones of Causality

There are many ways to farm out your weekly Tomestones of Causality, with Duty Roulettes being one of the best options at your disposal. The benefit that Duty Roulettes has over every other method is that it resets daily, enabling you to accumulate hundreds of Tomestones each day until you hit the cap. In contrast, most of the other ways only work once per week. Before we explore the other methods, let's go over what Duty Roulette offers. And also, here's a reminder that the Duty Roulette resets every day at 7:00 AM (PST)/10:00 AM (EST).

Duty Reward
Expert x40 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Level 90 Dungeons x15 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Leveling x20 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Trials x15 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Main Scenario x50 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Alliance Raid x50 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Normal Raid x20 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Mentor x10 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Frontline x20 Allagan Tomestones of Causality

As touched on earlier, there are more ways you can earn Tomestones of Causality, so let's briefly cover them. While you can get a decent amount of Tomestones through these activities, please note that you can only receive rewards once per week and cannot rely on them to hit the cap. Especially if you don't partake in the more challenging content such as Extremes, Savages, or Ultimates. Nonetheless, let's take a look at your options!

Activity Reward
Asphodelos (Normal) x5 Allagan Tomestones of Causality Per Floor
Asphodelos (Savage) x15 Allagan Tomestones of Causality Per Floor
Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate) x30 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Aglaia (Alliance Raid) x20 Allagan Tomestones of Causality
Abyssos (Normal) x10 Allagan Tomestones of Causality Per Floor
Abyssos (Savage) x30 Allagan Tomestones of Causality Per Floor
Wondrous Tails (1 Line) x50 Allagan Tomestones of Causality

How To Get Lunar Envoy's Gear

Now that you have some Tomestones of Causality saved up, it's time to spend them on the super cool-looking and powerful Lunar Envoy's Gear! The first step you will need to take is to head to Radz-at-Han and talk to the wonderful Cihanti (X:10.8, Y:10.4).

While every piece of Armor and Accessory will be available to purchase with Tomestones of Causality, weapons will require an Ultralight Tomestone in addition to Tomestones of Causality. You can earn an Ultralight Tomestone by cashing in x7 Unsung Blade of Abyssos, a guaranteed drop when clearing the Eighth Circle of the new Abyssos Raid. The unfortunate news is that you can only earn one per week, meaning you must wait at least seven weeks before having enough for the weapon.

Once you have enough accumulated, you can trade in x7 Unsung Blade of Abyssos for x1 Ultralight Tomestone by speaking to Djole at Radz-at-Han (X:10.3, Y:9.6) or Mylenie at Labyrinthos (X:8.3, Y:27.5).

Additionally, clearing the Savage version of the Abyssos: Eighth Circle will also guarantee you an Ultralight Tomestone drop. Honestly, we don't know which method is more excruciating or time-consuming here. Anyways, let's look at how to obtain gear with Tomestones of Causality!

How To Augment Lunar Envoy's Gear

Now that you have your Lunar Envoy's Gear, it's time to start augmenting them. That is if you are the type to partake in Savage Raids. While it will undoubtedly change with patch 6.3, the only way to currently augment your Lunar Envoy's Gear is by obtaining Moonshine Materials by clearing specific floors of the Abyssos Savage Raid.

How To Get Moonshine Materials

As mentioned above, Moonshine Materials will allow you to augment your Lunar Envoy's Gear and is currently only obtainable via the Savage version of the Abyssos Raid. You will find everything you need to know about the materials in the chart below!
