The event debuted in 2019 and despite many fans clamouring for its return, hasn't reappeared until now — with the launch of Patch 6.1. There's no official end date confirmed yet and chances are it will be available for a good while, so be sure to enjoy it before it leaves! Here's everything you need to know about it.

Updated: April 22, 2022: We've updated this guide to include a helpful video detailing everything you need to know about the GARO collaboration event!

How Does The Event Work?

Taking part in Crystalline Conflict, Frontline, and Rival Wings PvP duties will earn you Wolf Marks, a special type of PvP currency. You can then exchange these for various items in the Wolves' Den Pier.

While the GARO event is live, a new NPC has been added to the Wolves' Den Pier that will accept Wolf Marks in exchange for GARO inspired-gear. The Disreputable Priest at (X:5.0, Y:5.3) is who to go to for all your GARO goodies.

How To Get GARO Titles

To earn yourself a special GARO title, you have to equip a full set of GARO armor, including head, body, hands, legs, feet, and a matching class weapon* and then speak to the Disreputable Priest. Choose the 'Recieve a new title' option when wearing the required gear to earn your coveted title.

*Samurai, Red mage, Gunbreaker, Dancer, Reaper, and Sage do not require a matching class weapon.

How To Get Garo Mounts

To earn the three GARO-inspired mounts, you have to unlock a specific achievement for each one. Once you meet the requirements, you can claim your prize from the Achievement menu.

The required achievements are as follows:

Achievement Requirement Reward
Fame Fatale Win 30 Feast or Crystalline Conflict matches while using a title received from the disreputable priest. Goten Pipe (Mount)
Frontline Fury Win ten Frontline or Rival Wings campaigns while using a title received from the disreputable priest. Ginga Pipe (Mount)
Furious Fatalities Win a combination of 60 Frontline/Rival Wings campaigns or Feast/Crystalline Conflict matches while using a title received from the disreputable priest. Raigo Pipe (Mount)

How Can I Get The Garo Gear Without Doing PvP?

If you want the cool-looking armor without having to grind PvP sessions for it, you can speak to the Gold Saucer Attendant <Prize Claim> at (X;5.4, Y:6.6) in the Gold Saucer and purchase the weapons and armor with MGP. The equipment bought with MGP looks the same but cannot be dyed.

The GARO gear bought with MGP does not work to obtain titles from the Disreputable Priest.
