Personal 5 Royal is officially coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass on October 21, but some lucky fans are getting their physical copies almost two weeks early.

Personal Central has confirmed several users received their Xbox copies of Personal 5 Royal well before October 21. The images come courtesy of Twitter user @IBombZ11 and show the Persona 5 Royal case in the hands of fans.

Atlus announced the port for Personal 5 Royal earlier in June alongside Persona 4 and Persona 3 Portable, which would all come to PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and even the Nintendo Switch. The first to arrive would be the latest game, Persona 5 Royal, which stars Joker and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts as they infiltrate the minds of corrupt figures all while trying to live as normal high schoolers.

Ordering Persona 5 Royal on a different platform naturally incurred an additional charge, but PS4 owners were surprised to find out that getting Persona 5 Royal on the PS5 wouldn’t be a free upgrade. On Atlus's FAQs, the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei developer confirmed that "there are no products for PlayStation 4 purchasers of Persona 5 Royal for this title," and those looking to play the game on PS4 would have to "purchase Persona 5 Royal for PlayStation 5."

Curious, Atlus has remained mostly silent on what benefits the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version of Persona 5 Royal will enjoy over the previous-gen version. While most current-gen upgrades offer higher resolutions and better frame rates, it’s still unknown whether Persona 5 Royal will get the same treatment.

Persona 4 and Persona 3 Portable recently received their release dates, with both arriving on January 19 for all platforms. It's expected these will be straight ports without any additional features.
