Are your Flasks of Crimson and Cerulean Tears not doing the trick anymore? Don't worry, we have been there. As you level up your character and raise its stats, the basic crimson and cerulean tear vials will no longer be able to replenish HP and FP effectively.

Fret not! There is a way out of it: upgrade the vial with Sacred Tears. They can be found throughout Elden Ring's open-world, and they can help replenish HP or FP when in use. Here is a breakdown of everything you need to know about Sacred Tears and where each of them is located.

How To Use Sacred Tears In Elden Ring

Using one of your Sacred Tears in Elden Ring is quite straightforward. All you have to do is head to a nearby Site of Grace and select the 'Flask' option from the menu instead of resting or leveling up. Then, choose 'Increase the amount replenished by flasks' to use your Sacred Tear and upgrade your sacred vials.

All Sacred Tears Locations

They are always at the foot of a large statue in the ruins of a church, many of which can be found in different parts of the game's regions. This is the tricky bit: all Sacred Tears can be found in a church, but not all churches have sacred tears. Just take a look at the following locations:

Sacred Tear 1

You will find the first Sacred Tear in Limgrave, near an area called Third Church of Marika. This church is pretty close to the starting area. Just ride a horse, head towards the church, and watch out for the surrounding enemies. Near the church, there is a Site of Grace. You will find this Sacred Tear in front of a giant statue inside the church.

Sacred Tear 2

To the southwest of the first tear above is the Fourth Church of Marika. Here you will find another Sacred Tear. Stop by the Tombsward Ruins on the way to grab the Winged Scythe in Weeping Peninsula.

Sacred Tear 3

Found quite close to the Fourth Church of Marika, the Church of Pilgrimage is home to another Sacred Tear. It can be found directly north of Weeping Peninsula's Minor Erdtree, at the northernmost point of the area.

However, be aware that there are some enemies nesting inside ready to surprise you, so gear up before going in.

Sacred Tear 4

To the west of Weeping Peninsula is a place called Castle Morne Rampart that you can climb. A few steps south lies the Callu Baptismal Church. The Sacred Tear is in its usual place, but watch out for the army of rats inside.

Sacred Tear 5

In theory, it could take a while before you get your tarnished hands on the holy tear inside the Church of Irith in Liurnia, as it's located behind the game's first legacy dungeon and demigod — Castle Stormveil and Godrick, respectively.

Turn left when you exit Stormveil's back door, and you'll soon be greeted by the church at the edge of the Liurnia cliffs.

However, if you're struggling and want to bolster your healing before facing Stormveil, there's a hidden path to the right of the castle that you can enter from the broken bridge just north of Stormhill Shack. It allows you to skip Stormveil Castle altogether.

Sacred Tear 6

Just north of The Academy of Raya Lucaria is the Bellum Church, across the road from the broken entrance. You will probably see it on your way to the Grand Lift of Dectus.

Sacred Tear 7

East of the Church of Bellum and up the cliffs is the Church of Inhibition. Inside is another Sacred Tear, but you will need to pass the Frenzy-Flaming Tower and the Frenzy Flame Village to get there.

Sacred Tear 8

In the Altus Plateau, take the road north from the Altus Highway Junction path. You will see the Second Church of Marika in the northwest.

Sacred Tear 9

Northeast of the Grace of Site called Altus Highway Junction is the Stormcaller Church. There is a Sacred Tear inside, but to actually get there, you will need to approach it from the north because of the cliff edges next to it.

Sacred Tear 10

The Church of Plague is located inside Caelid, specifically in the City of Sorcery. However, the door will be closed until you light a fire at the top of a nearby tower.

To get to the tower, just follow the branches that fork from the door. Once you light the fire, the seal on this region's door will be broken, and you can head inside the church to get your tear.

Sacred Tear 11

On the southern edge of the frozen lake at the Giant Mountaintops stands the First Church of Marika with a tear inside. The climb won't be easy, however, and the area is full of enemies, including an ice dragon, so you'd better go up prepared.

Sacred Tear 12

The last tear to find is in the Church of Repose. You can find this one at the foot of the forge in the Mountaintop of the Giants. The entrance to this church will be guarded by an NPC that will come at you, but you can always enter the church, activate the Site of Grace, and deal with the NPC later.

The tear, as always, will be in front of the statue inside.
