Abductor Virgins are a Field Boss in Elden Ring. They are found inside a cave inside the Volcano Manor. After getting abducted by an Abductor Virgin in the Raya Lucaria Academy, you will find yourself in the area near the cave. Defeating the boss isn't that simple because of how annoying and challenging the duo fight can be. One of the Abductors will stay in your face the whole time while the other will swirls Sickles at you from afar.

The bosses' attack patterns are quite simple to learn, so with a bit of practise you'll be able to overcome them. Here is all you need to know about the Abductor Virgins.

Abductor Virgins Overview

Abductor Virgins Overview
Location Volcano Manor
Optional Yes
Summons Players and Spirit Ashes
Drops
  • 10,000 Runes
  • Inquisitor's Girandole
Weak To Lightning

Finding this boss is not simple as with other Dungeon or Cave bosses. To reach them you need to go down from the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace and ride the big lift to the bottom where an Abductor Virgin is located. Let the enemy grab you and kill you, allowing you to be abducted to a different area.

Hug the right around the lava and look for the Subterranean Inquisition Chamber Site of Grace here. Once you find that, head east through the lava to reach a dead end. Here the floor will collapse, and you will find yourself near the boss gate. Defeating the boss will get you a good Spear with a high range. It scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith.

Abductor Virgins Attacks

This is a duo fight, but fortunately, the Abductors don't have a large variety of attacks. Each does have slightly different ones though, so watch out for that.

Strategies

For this fight, your main strategy needs to be to focus on one target at a time. As both Abductors will be attacking you non-stop, you should make use of good Summons. Demi-Humans or Lone Wolf Ashes are great as they have numbers and can lure both bosses at the same time. After dealing with one Abductor, the rest of the fight will feel like dealing with a standard enemy. Many of the attacks the bosses have are dangerous but you can punish them, sepecially the grab. If you manage to dodge the grab, then you can hit its hands constantly for serious damage.

Make sure that you do not end up getting cornered at one end of the cave, usually near the cages. A lot of deaths happen here because of the poor positioning during the fight and can have you rerunning the entire encounter.

If you are playing as a ranged class using spells or a bow, you'll have a much easier time than a melee player. After entering the cave, summon your Ashes and go to the right, where you can see a bunch of rocks. Climb all of them and cast your spells from the top. Here, none of the Wheel Abductor's attacks will hit you. The Sickle Abductor can still hit you with the Sickle Throw, so you need to deal with that boss first. While your summons are trying to get the bosses' attention, you can nuke the Sickle variant and focus on the other in a one-on-one fight.

General Tips

  • Be Level 70 or Higher.
  • Use a Summon that has multiple mobs in order to attract both enemies and deal with one while they are distracted.
  • Use a Rune Arc to increase your stats and ease the fight.
  • Attack the boss as much as you can after successfully dodging the grab attack.
  • The cave is small, so do not get cornered into one area.
