Pokemon Legends: Arceus allows you to travel back in time to the Hisui region, a beautiful landscape that will come to be known as the Sinnoh region in the modern Pokemon world. While character customization is limited in the game, with only a few set faces and hairstyles to choose between when you start out, you can change up your character's style later on.

Whether it's wanting a change of clothes or a different hairstyle, this guide tells you everything you need to know about how to alter your appearance in-game. Please note, some of these features do not work until you have joined the Galaxy Expedition Team, which is approximately an hour into the game.

How To Change Your Outfit

You can easily change your outfit by interacting with the mirror in your quarters in Jubilife. You're able to change your head item, top, trousers, sandals, eyewear, or choose a full outfit. You'll start with your normal modern-day clothes, but as you progress through the game you will be given additional outfits and can purchase others too. You can also change your clothing by speaking to the Clothier in Jubilife.

Be warned, some clothing cannot be equipped depending on your hairstyle. For example, if you have the Survey Corps style equipped (which you default to once you join them), you cannot equip the Baneful Fox Mask unless you change your hair.

Where To Get New Outfits

If you want to pay out for some new threads, you can head to the Clothier in Jubilife and purchase a range of items. This is also where you can go to receive special clothing items if you have save data from previous games on your Nintendo Switch, such as the Shaymin Kimono for having Pokemon Sword & Shield save data.

Speak to the Clothier to receive each gift — you have to speak to her more than once if you have multiple gifts waiting, after which point she will offer you her wares to browse.

How To Change Your Hair

If you want to change your hairstyle, hair color, and eyebrow color, you can head to the Hairdresser in Jubilife. It costs 500 each time you want to change your look. More hairstyles will unlock as you progress through the storyline.
