Pokemon Legends: Arceus did a lot of things that reduced the need for interacting online, including the addition of a new item that lets you bypass trade evolutions and not implementing online battles. That said, there is a feature that draws on your friends list.

The Lost and Found feature of the game is both a way to track your friends' progress (or lack thereof) and earn some of the game's most valuable items. And don't worry - while it's great to use with a list of friends playing the same game, it's perfectly functional offline too.

What Is The Lost & Found?

A lost satchel in Pokemon Legends Arceus

When you pass out in Pokemon Legends Arceus as a result of fall damage or being struck one too many times by a wild Pokemon, you'll drop some items before "respawning" in safety. If you're playing online, this will show up on a friend's game as a pack that they can pick up. Similarly, you'll be able to pick up packs in your game at the locations of your friends' unlucky encounters.

You can open the Lost & Found menu in the Communications sub-menu to see a list of all the currently available packs to pick up. This will show you where they can be found, hint at the items dropped, and also how many Merit Points you'll get for picking it. The more items a person dropped, the more Merit Points you'll get for returning it.

Lost satchels will appear on the map as a satchel icon with a circle around it, so you don't have to search for them and come across them randomly.

You can use Merit Points to buy valuable items, including any evolutionary item in the game.

The game will spawn random lost satchels for you to find, so don't worry if your friends aren't unlucky enough to run into such dangers.
