One of the newest elements in Pokemon Legends: Arceus are the Space-Time Distortion fields. They look like giant purple bubble domes with chaotic energy spiraling around that will randomly appear in the open world areas of the game, and spawn unique Pokemon and items inside. While they look deadly, these breaks in time and space are rewarding to trainers willing to explore them.

While Space-Time Distortion fields can be dangerous, that should not deter you from exploring them, since the Pokemon inside are rare, and some of them are even exclusive to these fields. Moreover, some rare items will appear in these fields as well. This guide will break down what Space-Time Distortion fields are and when they materialize, while also discussing what kinds of Pokemon and items you can find inside Space-Time Distortion fields.

What Are Space-Time Distortion Fields?

Essentially, Space-Time distortions are similar anomalies to the one that sent your trainer back in time, and they emerge from the rupture in the sky above Mount Coronet, at the heart of the Hisui region. These will cause items and Pokemon from the future to show up, displaced from their own points in time, leading to intriguing results. Since the true source of this phenomenon is heavily related to the story, we won't give it away here.

When Do Space-Time Distortion Fields Appear?

After defeating the Noble Pokemon Kleavor, the Space-Time Distortion Fields will start popping up randomly while you are exploring the different areas of Sinnoh. They don't trigger after any specific action and mostly show up while you are busy catching Pokemon.

Once the field appears in your area, you will get a warning, and after five minutes, the dome will properly form. You have a limited amount of time to reach the distortion field and explore it, so make sure you go there as soon as possible. Once you get to the dome, you should prepare to fight some stronger Pokemon.

Exclusive Pokemon In Space-Time Distortion Fields

To complete your Pokedex, you will need to enter a Space-Time Distortion Field, so you can collect special Pokemon. Catching Pokemon in these fields is tough, and they typically battle in groups of three, so make sure your Pokemon team is adequately prepared to endure the battles in them.
