Pikachu is by far the most iconic Pokemon ever created. So it only makes sense that Pikachu is part of the 242 Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Pikachu is a powerful electric type, and their combat prowess is greatly affected by their friendship with their trainer.

Make sure you have enough Poke Balls, some Oran Berries, and a decent line-up of Pokemon. Catching Pikachu, especially early in the game, requires some patience and a little bit of luck. Also, make sure you are familiar with the stealth mechanic before trying to catch Pikachu.

Where To Find Pikachu in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

You can find Pikachu in the Nature's Pantry area of the Obsidian Fieldlands.

The specific location is marked above with a star. Pikachu will not always spawn in this location, so you may need to check here a few times before they spawn. It is also best to come to this location during the day. You can also find Pikachu in the Crimson Mirelands east of the Solaceon Ruins, past the river and trees.

Where To Find Pichu In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Pichu also spawns in the same location as Pikachu.

Pichu is far more skittish than Pikachu and will run away if you approach too quickly. This behavior makes sense because Pichu is the first evolution of Pikachu and a baby Pokemon. So make sure you approach slowly and in the cover of tall grass if you want to catch them. Pichu also appears in the Crimson Mireands.

How To Get Raichu In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

You can find Raichu in the Crimson Mirelands in the area pictured above. There is also an Alpha Raichu in this location. Alpha Pokemon make an excellent addition to your team, so catching this one is worth the effort. More information is below on how you can do that.

Another way to unlock Raichu is to use a thunderstone on Pikachu.

Thunderstones are rare drops from Space-Time Distortion Fields.

How To Catch Pikachu, Pichu, And Raichu

To catch Pichu, you will need to toss an Oran Berry nearby the Pichu and throw a Poke Ball at it while it is distracted. Battling Pichu is not a great idea because they usually run away immediately.

Pikachu is a different story. You can use an Oran Berry as a distraction and toss a Poke Ball at them while they are distracted. If they break out or spot you, they will attack you with thunderbolts. If that happens, you can dodge Pikachu's attacks and then start a battle with your preferred Pokemon. Then try to lower Pikachu's HP until it is below 50 percent. After that, throw a Poke Ball to try and catch them. Keep trying until you catch them.

Raichu appears in the Crimson Mirelands. You can trick Raichu with an Oran Berry and sneakily toss a Poke Ball at them while they are distracted. Otherwise, you will need to fight them (like Pikachu). If that's the case, lower their HP and throw Poke Balls at them until you catch them.

If you are trying to catch the Alpha Raichu, make sure you have level-appropriate Pokemon to battle it. Also, be sure to bring plenty of Revives and Potions if things get bad.
