Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a ton of adventures, challenges and mysteries for you to explore. Presented as a twist on the beginnings of the Sinnoh region (once called Hisui), this game will bring you classic pokemon as well as new regional variants for you to discover and, hopefully, befriend.
One of the many new pokemon presented in this region is the Hisuian version of Sneasel and its new evolution Sneasler, which is one of your various Ride Pokemon, as well as an obtainable one for you to use in battle. Here's everything you need to know to obtain them.
How To Get Hisuian Sneasel
To obtain a Sneasler, you must first catch a Hisuian Sneasel. This pokemon can be found in the following areas of the Hisui Region:
- Alabaster Icelands
- Glacier Terrace
- Avalugg's Legacy
- Coronet Highlands
- Celestica Trail
- Primeval Grotto
This regional variant of Sneasel has a Fighting/Poison type, and if you want to lure it for a more efficient catch, its preferred foods are Plump Beans, Hearty Grains, and Springy Mushroom. Also, if you defeat one in battle you may possibly obtain a Pep-Up plant or a Razor Claw as reward drops, something useful for what comes next.
How To Get Sneasler
Sneasler is a Fighting/Poison pokemon with access to a new Poison-type move called Dire Claw, an attack with a strength of 60 and accuracy of 100 that can also be called as a ride pokemon to climb any kind of surface, regardless of having captured it or not. To successfully evolve your Hisuian Sneasel to Sneasler, you must use a Razor Claw on it, a consumable evolutionary item that you can obtain from several sources:
- Jubilife Village - 1000 Merit Points in Simona's Shop.
- Jubilife Village - As a possible item on Ginter's Specials - 5000 Pokedollars.
- Space-time Distortions - Laying on the floor.
- As a possible reward for defeating Sneasel, Hisuian Sneasel, or Weavile.
Regardless of which way you choose to get this item, you must remember to use it on your Hisui Sneasel during the day, otherwise, it won't work. However, once you have obtained and succesfully used this item on your pokemon, you should now be the owner of a Sneasler.
