One of the many classic pokemon that makes its return is Goomy, originally from the Kalos region in the sixth generation of games. However, this cute little slug gets a new twist in the form of not only one but two regional variant evolutions, Hisuian Sliggoo and Goodra! Here's everything you need to know about this Dragon-type pokemon.

How To Get Goomy

A Dragon-type small slug pokemon, Goomy was first released in the Kalos region of the X&Y pokemon games. To obtain a Goomy, you can go to the following places:

  • Crimson Mirelands
    • Holm of Trials
  • Coronet Highlands
    • Ancient Quarry

How To Get Hisuian Sliggoo And Goodra

After having caught your Goomy, next you have to level it up to 40, so it can evolve to the Hisuian form of Sliggoo. Now having a Steel/Dragon-type and looking a bit more like a snail instead of a slug, Hisuian Sliggoo will be able to evolve one more time into the Hisuian variant of Goodra. To successfully do this you must reach level 50, and it will evolve as long as it does it under a Rain weather condition. This can be tricky to do, but if the world looks dry as a desert just go to any camp and take a rest until the weather cycle changes into the desired one, and you should be able to get your Hisuian Goodra in no time.

Alternatively, both Sliggoo and Goodra can be found as wild or alpha pokemon in the following zones:

Sliggoo

  • Crimson Mirelands
    • Holm of Trials
  • Coronet Highlands
    • Ancient Quarry

Goodra

  • Obsidian Fieldlands
    • Lake Verity (as part of the main story, during one of the lake trials)
  • Coronet Highlands
    • Ancient Quarry
