Destiny 2’s remade Vault of Glass raid isn’t set to return until May 22, but thanks to data miners, we can still view all the “new” weapons that are set, and all the new perks they’ll come with.

As befits weapons that come from some of the hardest PvE content that Destiny 2 has to offer, most of these weapons will have either very good stats, very good perk combos, or both. We’ve selected a few standout rolls for you to aim for as Season of the Splicer progresses, but don’t take this as the last word. With all the great perk combos to come, you’ll certainly want to grind for guns that appeal to your own tastes.

Fatebringer

A 140 RPM Hand Cannon with near-perfect recoil, great aim assist, and above-average stats, Fatebringer will undoubtedly be a popular weapon when Vault of Glass arrives. It's also got A LOT of really great perk combinations that can make it hard to pick a truly "best" roll. You’re going to have to pick your personal preference here and just take this as a mere suggestion.

For me, I'd try to nail down Rewind Rounds or Tunnel Vision in the left perk slot and Frenzy or Firefly in the right slot. Adrenaline Junkie is also there for those that just love their grenades, and the combo of Explosive Payload and Kill Clip sounds like a real menace in PvP.

Best Roll: Corkscrew Rifling, Tactical Mag, Rewind Rounds, Firefly

Praedyth's Revenge

Praedyth's Revenge has the potential to become one of the best all-around sniper rifles in the game. For PvP, Moving Target and Opening Shot. For PvE, Rewind Rounds and either Frenzy or High Impact Reserves will provide incredible single-target damage potential. Firefly is also there if you prefer to use the Rapid-Fire Sniper's expanded ammo reserves for plinking heads at range, although I prefer to keep my special ammo for meatier targets.

Recoil is this gun's sworn enemy, so try to get an Arrowhead Brake barrel to tamp it down.

Best Roll: Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Rewind Rounds, Frenzy

Found Verdict

With better recoil, range, handling, and reload speed than Astral Horizon, as well as access to Vorpal and Frenzy, there's nothing stopping Found Verdict from replacing all your hard-earned Trials Shotguns as soon as it arrives later this season.

For slidey Guardians, Slideshot and Opening Shot will help push Found Verdict's range to its maximum, which will be especially deadly in the Crucible. Surplus is another great choice that's effective in both PvE and PvP, and Rewind Rounds can turn this gun into a DPS monster. On the right side, it's dealer's choice. One-Two Punch for melee builds, Demolitionist for grenade builds, and either Vorpal or Frenzy for everything else. If you love Shotguns, Found Verdict is going to be a surefire favorite.

Best Roll: Rifled Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Surplus, Vorpal

Vision Of Confluence

If you really love 180 Scout Rifles, Vision Of Confluence is way better than Season of the Hunt's Royal Chase, but the archetype is still in a bad place overall. Still, Vision of Confluence has a lot of good combinations to shoot for.

Rewind Rounds makes yet another appearance and pairs nicely with Full Auto Trigger. Tunnel Vision and Firefly creates a plinking machine that might even put the old Oxygen SR2 to shame. Surplus and Frenzy are there if you just want straight damage, and you could roll both Wellspring and Thresh to get energy back for both your super and all your abilities on every kill.

Personally, Precision Scout Rifles should plink, so I'm going with the plinking roll.

Best Roll: Arrowhead Brake, Appended Mag, Tunnel Vision, Firefly

Corrective Measure

Another raid, another Void Machine Gun. It's hard to say whether you should go for Corrective Measure over Deep Stone Crypt's Commemoration. I'll boil it down to this: if your Machine Gun needs Rampage, then get Commemoration. If you prefer something more interesting, Corrective Measure might be the bullet hose for you.

In the left column, it's a bonanza of great options: Surplus, Frenzy, Rewind Rounds, Subsistence, and Demolitionist. In the right column, Firefly, One For All, Adrenaline Junkie, and High Impact Reserves are the standouts. The fact you can make a Demolitionist plus Adrenaline Junkie Machine Gun is something too unique and astounding to ignore, so that's what I'm going for, but feel free to mix and match any of the perks listed here.

Best Roll: Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Demolitionist, Adrenaline Junkie

Hezen Vengeance

It's really hard for Hezen Vengeance to compete with Code Duello. It has the same Impulse Amplifier plus Lasting Impression combo as the Code, but none of the blast radius that makes Code Duello such a powerhouse. But it does have a few tricks that at least make it stand out.

If you're not confident in your aim, Tracking Module will help ensure you stick your targets, while Vorpal provides no-questions-asked extra damage to bosses and vehicles. Overflow can be an interesting choice to give this Launcher a bigger magazine, but it's got nothing on Code's Ambitious Assassin.

Honestly, Code Duello is way easier to farm, so just get that. If you really love Tracking Module, well, here’s your roll.

Best Roll: Volatile Launch, Impact Casing, Tracking Module, Lasting Impression
