MultiVersus dataminers have been at it again, this time uncovering voice lines for The Joker, whose inclusion in the game was leaked not too long ago. The exciting news though is that these newly found voice lines seem to confirm that Mark Hamill will be returning to his role as the Clown Prince of Crime.

As discovered by a dataminer who goes by @LaisulMV on Twitter, a variety of voice lines can be heard and it's highly likely that Hamill is behind them. We also know that they've been recorded explicitly for MultiVersus - unlike Rick & Morty - as a selection of game-specific phrases can be heard, such as "Red Rejects" and "Blue Bozos" which are clearly referring to the game's default team colors.

The Joker is just one of many, many characters that dataminers have found evidence of, with others including the Wicked Witch of the West, Beetlejuice, Gandalf, and the recently released Gizmo. However, a dataminer finding a character in the game's files doesn't necessarily mean they'll eventually arrive, as was the case with Gandalf who looks to have been removed entirely. It's likely The Joker will show up though if Player First has gone out of its way to record voice lines with someone like Mark Hamill.

These voice lines were found in the game's latest patch, which has also brought Rick who is available to play right now and recently had his entire moveset shown off via a new trailer. Some new skins for Reindog and Steven Universe were also added, as were the expected nerfs and buffs to several different characters (RIP Superman wall campers).

However, one fairly unexpected change that might disappoint a lot of people is the tweak to XP rates, as the amount required to get a character to level 15 has been doubled. This has apparently been changed as Player First wasn't happy with how quickly players were mastering characters and have doubled the time so it feels like "a bit more of a journey."
