Ever since the latest update, whenever you open the Roblox Mining Simulator 2 main page on the platform, you will see FREE DOMINUS written before the title of the actual game. This is an event in the game that provides you a lot of late-game goodies for free, and it's a fairly easy task.
When you claim the reward, you will get access to a brand-new pet called Patrius - which is the Dominus mentioned above. You will also get a two-hour Super Lucky Boost and a two-hour Omega Lucky Boost. While the pet isn't the best in the game, it is still an amazing reward overall.
How To Get The Free Dominus
The Dominus is being given out by Rumble Studios in celebration of the fourth of July. To acquire it, you will need to play the game for quite some time as you require access to a Mine area that only unlocks once you've farmed a million blocks. If you're new to the game, this number will surely scare you.
As soon as you load into the game, you can see the doorway leading to the required area directly behind you in between the Sell and the Shop circles. If you're new, there's a lot of grinding you need to do but if you do it efficiently, it can be achieved before the event ends.
If you have it unlocked, go into the Mine area and you will see some decorations for celebrating the festival. At the back right corner, there is a board that shows the time left until a fireworks show, and right beside it, there's a circle that says 'Free Gift.'
All you need to do is stand in the circle and you will acquire the rewards mentioned above.
- You can equip your new pet by heading over to the 'Items' menu from the bottom right of your screen and then going to Pets. Click on the Pet and click 'Equip.'
- As for the boosts, you can use them whenever you want by going to the 'Boosts' section in your items. These items give you luck when you're hatching Eggs to acquire new pets and give you a higher chance to get a rare pet.
If you're new to the game and haven't farmed a million blocks, you have to simply head to the initial mining area and start farming. Keep upgrading your Tools and Inventory space.
Eventually, you'll be able to enchant your tools to provide extra ore.
