Roblox is a hugely popular sandbox game that can be played with others online, and so is Minecraft. The two are often compared but now you don't need to own Minecraft to play the game, because Roblox has lots of games that are just like it.
There are some obvious ones, like "Mineworld", but there are also some hidden gems that don't have mining or crafting in their title. Here's a list of some of the games you should check out if you're a Minecraft fan.

10/10 FastCraft
Although the creator of FastCraft claims it is not a recreation of Minecraft, the game does a great job of recreating that classic Minecraft feeling. It actually introduces lots of cool new voxel models to Roblox and remains of the popular Minecraft-like games on the platform.
You can host your own private server with friends and everything you build and collect will be saved between sessions. There are daily rewards for logging in and playing, a newly designed menu, and a help section that will assist you in getting started with this fun game.
9/10 Minerblocks
Minerblocks is one of the most popular Minecraft-like games on Roblox, and it's currently running a fun Christmas event to encourage players to log in and get mining.
It's an endless adventure game, akin to Minecraft. You head out into this large sandbox and can have as much fun as you can create, with friends on a server, or on your own. If you've ever played or watched Minecraft, you'll see that this game takes a lot of inspiration from it, but it's not directly related to Mojang's title. Just a fun recreation for Roblox players.
8/10 Minerscave!
Minerscave! looks a lot like Minecraft. The textures are a bit different, the gameplay isn't quite as complicated, but it's a pretty good rendition of the real Minecraft. It's also one of the highest-rated Minecraft-style games in Roblox.
You can cut down trees, build houses, mine for materials, and meet your friends in this free-to-play adventure. Create your own stories as you play. However, if you want to save any of your progress or your house you do need to pay for exclusive access to the game.
7/10 Survival Island
Survival Island is like Minecraft meets Ark. You're dropped on a deserted island and have to fend for yourself against the dangers in the night. Watch out for natural disasters, they can destroy everything you've worked for.
The game hasn't received an update for a long time, but still has a decent number of players on the server whenever we've checked. Survival Island has mining, crafting, building, and everything else you might expect from a survival game.
6/10 Mining Simulator
Is mining your favorite part of Minecraft? Then look no further than Mining Simulator. This hugely popular game is all about digging holes on the hunt for the rarest items. Work together with your friends or head out on a solo mining mission to become the richest miner on the server.
Although it doesn't have crafting or building, Mining Simulator takes the best parts of mining in Minecraft and brings them to Roblox. You can collect rare hats, pets, and travel to new and exciting destinations. Definitely worth checking out: almost one billion visitors can't be wrong!
5/10 Build To Survive Simulator
This blocky survival game takes the building mechanics of Minecraft and throws wave after wave of bad guys at your base. There are blocks, but you can build in third-person which makes it a lot easier to build the ultimate base. Build to Survive Simulator is a very popular game, with over 160 million visits.
How does it work? Well, you have a certain number of resources to build your base with. Survive a wave of oncoming enemies and you'll earn more resources for your next base. There are also natural disasters, so be careful! You'll also find many different games on the Roblox store with "Build To Survive" in the title.
4/10 Craft-Bloxs
Craft-Bloxs isn't a full replica of Minecraft, even if it does look like one when you first see it in Roblox. It does, however, work quite a lot like the real game. You need to cut down trees, go mining, and eventually build a house.
Combat is a big part of Craft-Bloxs so you want to make sure you're crafting armor and weapons. Resources are very easy to find. You don't need to spend very long mining before you come across your first diamonds. It's worth checking out this game if you're a Minecraft fan.
3/10 Islands
Islands is a massively popular Roblox game that takes quite a lot of inspiration from Minecraft. You can build, live on, and design your perfect island home. The game has over one billion visits in just one year of being released and over two million favorites. It's one of the best Minecraft-like games in Roblox.
What do you do in Islands? Well, you can raise some farm animals, collect rare items from enemies and bosses, and sell items on the market to make even more in-game currency. If you've ever played Minecraft Sky Blocks then Islands is definitely the game for you. With so many players online, it's a great place to show off your fancy free haircuts.
2/10 Skywars
Love Minecraft minigames? You're going to love Skywars. This game was released in 2017 and in the last four years has had close to one billion visits. It received its last update as part of a winter event, so there's even some new stuff to check out in the game.
Skywars is a bit like Bed Wars. You need to build a base, collect some powerful items, and then head out to defeat your enemies. This game gets really competitive considering it's just a free Roblox game. Watch out for skilled opponents...they'll destroy your base in no time.
1/10 Miner's Haven
Another popular mining game to add to the list, Miner's Haven is a massive sandbox tycoon game with literally hundreds and hundreds of items to collect. You start out as a humble miner with a pickaxe and a dream and can end your days in Miner's Haven with dozens of pets and an awesome base.
Mining and crafting are big parts of Miner's Haven, which is why it makes it onto this list of best Minecraft games in Roblox. There are always a few thousand people online and the game receives regular updates, including in 2021.
