Survival games on Roblox come in many different forms of entertainment. Whether it be surviving horror situations, surviving some calamity event, surviving an elimination-based gameshow, or even simply building a base to survive, there are plenty of survival games to go around on the platform that always gain a ton of popularity.
However, because of how genres work on Roblox, there isn't an exact tag for survival games. Many are labeled horror, adventure, or all genres, so it can be hard to find new games to enjoy on the very vast platform that gets hundreds of new games every single day.

A game that has been blowing up for the past year on YouTube is a survival horror game called 3008. This game is about being thrown into a giant IKEA store and surviving daily from the scary staff members that come out of the woodwork to attack you when the power is shut off.
The game's objective is to survive in the store by gathering food and building bases out of furniture that can be found everywhere around the store. However, other players can easily steal from you or sabotage your base, so while the staff members may seem like the only thing you need to defend against, plenty of real people want to take what's yours for themself.
9/10 Crushed By A Speeding Wall
This game is very straightforward; try not to get crushed by a giant speeding wall that flies forwards whenever any player presses an oversized red button at the beginning of the map. To get past the speeding wall, you must run to cubbies in the walls before you are crushed.
But, as you progress, you get closer to the actual wall's resting point, meaning that you must be lucky pushing forward. Once you make it, there are obby courses at the end to complete and a portal that takes you to an even tougher race against a speeding wall.
8/10 Survive Spin The Bottle
Spin The Bottle is an iconic game played at parties and in school for its simple nature of choosing a random person after spinning the bottle and an effect happening upon the person. In this game, they take it to the next level and mix it with another classic game, Russian Roulette.
You, as the player, sit at a table in a suit with some jazz-like music in the background while players take turns spinning the bottle and then shooting at whoever they please. But be careful because if you shoot and your shot misses, that player may look to you as their next victim.
7/10 Build A Boat To Survive
Building boats to survive is one of the best survival-like games on Roblox due to the number of possibilities you can achieve. The end goal is to get through ten different sections of a river with various obstacles in a way that can destroy your boat upon touching them. And, with each section, the obstacles will do more damage and have more resistance.
The best part about this is that your boat can be anything with the simple building tool of placing blocks to make your boat. Depending on the type of material you build it with, it can be a fast weightless boat that quickly zig-zags down the river avoiding obstacles, or a giant boat with sturdy materials that destroy everything in its path.
6/10 The Floor Is Lava
Another classic game come to life is The Floor Is Lava. The best part about this game is that you need to reach the highest point on the map by climbing rocks, buildings, or even going through obstacle courses to get to the top before the other players around you do.
There are bonuses for players to buy, like extra lives or building blocks to make the higher points even higher, but that won't save you if you can't make it past all the tricky situations the game puts you in. And the thing you need to look out for the most is the other players around you that will purposefully try to push you off the top or stand on top of you, making it so that you die first.
5/10 Survive The Killer
Survive The Killer is a very well-made game that's supposed to be a mix between Friday The 13th and Dead By Daylight. When playing the game, you can pick up items left on the ground that can later be sold for money, or if it's a chest, it can be opened up to get exclusive items like cosmetics or something to help you in upcoming games.
The maps are relatively small, but you can revive your teammates up to three times before they're permanently dead. Luckily, the game only makes you survive for around five minutes, meaning that if you can outrun the fast Jason-like killer, you can exit and win.
4/10 Total Roblox Drama
Based on the hit Cartoon Network show Total Drama Island, Total Roblox Drama features all the islanders in the original series that can be played in a lobby for up to 20 people. Each game, you're split into two-three teams based on how many players are in your lobby, and you compete in challenges to eventually whittle down everyone until it's a few people left.
Many of the challenges are obstacle courses or surviving events against other players. The only problem is that many of these challenges aren't explained, so as a new player, you need to figure them out quickly or lose.
3/10 Roblox Squid Game
Another TV show made into a Roblox game is the top-rated show, Squid Game. Just like the TV show, you have to survive each round with classic games from the show like red light green light, tug of war, hopscotch, and many more, as well as games that can only work in a video game like passing the bomb.
However, one of the best parts about the Roblox Squid Game is the opportunity to become a guard or a player. As a player, you obviously play through the games until the end, but as a guard, you can do all the dirty work by eliminating players until the end. And on top of that, there are even codes to unlock free revives and more.
2/10 Rainbow Friends
If you've ever wanted to be in a horror-themed Miss Frizzle field trip where monsters lure you into a scary theme park to collect items, Rainbow Friends nails it in every aspect. With up to 15 players in a game, you roam around a map avoiding monsters that become more active with every passing round after collecting items found around the map.
However, with most horror games, similar aspects always stick around, like hiding in lockers or crevices. But Rainbow Friends also gives you a box so you can still walk around but can conceal yourself more, and some crevices sometimes lead you to different levels like shortcuts to escape quickly.
1/10 Natural Disaster Survival
One of the most popular and classic games on the Roblox platform is Natural Disaster Survival, originating back in early 2008 when Roblox was still starting to grow as a place for games to be made and shared. This game has a straightforward goal: to survive disaster after disaster that the game sends your way, whether it be blizzards, tornados, flash floods, or even active volcanoes.
However, that's not the only thing that makes it so much fun because you can have multiple disasters simultaneously. When placed on these huge maps like the Roblox HQ, a military base, or a race track, it can be difficult to survive the multiple challenges sent your way as you have to constantly adapt to your environment to find protection as quickly as possible.
