Materials to Prepare Beforehand

Simply put, these are the materials you'll need if you want to Ascend to World Level 7 and Adventure Rank 50 and have a leveled and readied team to match.

  • 6 Elemental Gemstones per character.
  • 20 Boss Drops (Everflame Seeds, Lightning Prisms, etc.)
  • 60 Local Specialties from the preceding ascension. (Small Lamp Grass, Philanemo Mushrooms, etc.)
  • 24 Enemy Drops from preceding ascension (Insignias, Scrolls, etc.)
  • 120,000 Mora per character (to Ascend to Phase 6.)
  • 648,000 Mora per character (to use in leveling up from 80-90.)
  • 174 Hero's Wit per character (to go from 80-90.)
  • Stormterror/Wolf of the North Resource for Talent capable of level-ups from 6.
  • 247 Mythic Enhancement Ore (to 4-Star Weapons to go from 80-90.)
  • 4 5-Star Weapon Ascension Materials (for level 80 Weapons.)

How & Where to Gather All of These Materials

It's a lot of grinding; there's no doubt about it. But, because of the changes introduced back in Update 1.1, it's not as bad as it could've been. For example, the inclusion of Condensed Resin cuts the time for grinding out Hero's Wit and Mora from the Ley Lines by half.

Moreover, there are two methods of obtaining the Local Specialties players will need.

  • Buy them from an NPC Vendor.
  • Find them in easy-to-reach locations. (Note: it'll likely take at least 2-3 days to collect it all if a player was at zero previously.)

Where To Get The Rest of The Gemstones

It's either these Gemstones or the Mystic Enhancement Ore that will truly slow players down. Why? Well, even if a player grinds out 20 of the aforementioned Boss Drops, they likely still won't have enough to make 6 Gemstones. Fortunately, crafting with Gem Slivers can rectify this.

Gem Slivers are a crafting component that can be fused back together to recreate a whole gem. Below is a list of the fusing ratios to depict the lengthy process of crafting one gemstone.

  • 3 Slivers = 1 Fragment
  • 3 Fragments = 1 Chunk
  • 3 Chunks = 1 Gemstone

In conclusion, it takes a grand total of 81 gem slivers to craft a single gemstone.

The Grind For Mythic Enhancement Ore

The Mythic Enhancement Ore is the biggest time-sink by far. Sure, with characters like Ningguang, finding these Shining Crystals and marking them on the map is easy enough, but even if a player hunts them down all day, they'll likely only be able to craft 20+ Enhancement Ore.

Even the newly added Magical Crystal Chunks won't make a dent in the 250+ needed to get a single 4-Star weapon from 80 to 90. Unfortunately, there's no easy hack for accomplishing the feat, but here are the ways to gather Mythical Enhancement Ore. Fair warning, they all require a great deal of patience.

  • Constantly redeem and re-send out unused characters on the 20-hour expeditions that bring Crystals in.
  • Hunt down Chests.
  • Hope a New Event drops soon.

Final Preparations

Frankly, Genshin Impact's World Level 7 isn't all too much harder than World Level 6, but for players who are struggling with open-world mobs, here are some ways to prepare for the change in advance:

  • Get all of the characters in the main party to level 70+ and the main DPS to 80.
  • Focus on leveling characters that make great party combinations when teamed up rather than simply leveling the highest "tier" character.
  • Equip each character with at least 4-Star artifacts of level 8 or higher.
  • Base standard of level 5 talents, and even higher for the DPS.
  • Base standard of level 60 weapons, preferably 80 for the DPS.
  • Stockpile food (such as Jade Parcels) that buffs attack, defense, and Stamina.

And that's about it! These are the materials and aspects players should have at the ready in preparation for Adventure Rank 50 and World Level 7 in Genshin Impact.
