Location

The Electro Hypostasis is located in Cape Oath, near the Eagle's Gate domain. You can see its exact location in the Traveler Guide book, as well as directly on the map after you have discovered it.

Best Characters To Use

The Electro Hypostasis is the elemental embodiment of Electro, meaning all attacks against it will produce an Electro-based reaction. Avoid using Electro characters like Fischl or Keqing, as their attacks will have little effect on this boss. Instead, bring high damage characters like Diluc, Klee, Ganyu or Chongyun, who can benefit from either the Overloaded or Superconduct reactions.

How To Beat

The Electro Hypostasis will only take damage when its core is exposed. Before exposing its core, the boss will use various Electro attacks. The general strategy for this boss is to stay close and avoid its attacks, then strike the core once it's exposed. Repeat this process a few times and the boss will go down. Let's take a look at each of the Electro Hypostasis' attacks and what they do.

Missiles: The boss will form a diamond shape with its shell before launching pieces of it at you. These can be easily dodged by moving away.

Clap: The boss will form a wall with its shell before clapping the two halves together, dealing damage in the center. Dodge to either side to avoid this attack.

Rock, Scissors, Paper: The boss will fly next to you before performing three different attacks, in the forms of a fist, scissors, and a flat "hand". These attacks can be dodged by sprinting behind the boss before each one.

Drill: The boss will turn into a drill and fly across the arena. Dash to the side to dodge.

Tremors: The boss will move to the center of the arena and send out continuous shockwaves around the arena. These can be dodged by carefully moving between them.

Cage: The boss will form a barrier around you made out of Electro energy, trapping you inside. It will launch lightning strikes around you. You can escape the cage before it is formed by running towards the first pillar that appears.

Rotating Lasers: The boss will form a ring with its shell and fire four lasers that will rotate around the arena. You can either run in a circle to avoid the lasers or get close to the boss whose core is exposed for the duration of this attack.

Rebirth: When the boss has roughly 5-10% HP remaining, it will move to the center of the arena and form three Electro Prisms. A few seconds later, the boss will absorb these prisms, restoring health for each Prism absorbed. To avoid this, destroy the prisms before the boss consumes them. The Prisms can only take Elemental Damage, making Catalyst users or characters like Diluc and Chongyun who can infuse their weapons the best way of destroying them.

Rewards

Like other bosses in Genshin Impact, the Electro Hypostasis costs 40 Original Resin to open its rewards. Upon doing so, you'll receive Electro Character Ascension Materials, Lightning Prisms, and Artifacts from the sets Berserker, Instructor, Lucky Dog, Gladiator's Finale, Wanderer's Troupe, and Prayers for Wisdom.
