The Mechanical Array is one such boss, and despite looking like another Hypostasis, it is a machine weapon with a very different attack strategy that may catch you off guard. The guide below goes over tips for fighting the Mechanical Array and will help you locate it on the map.

How To Get To The Perpetual Mechanical Array In Inazuma

The Mechanical Array is located on Narukami island, but as you have probably noticed, the map shows it being in the ocean. Things get even more confusing when you realize that the enemy is underneath the water, and there is no way to get to it. You may have even tried to scour the flooded ruins that are nearby.

The trick for reaching the boss is actually pretty simple once you realize how to do it. Simply hop in your wave rider; there’s a point on the end of the beach near the boss's location on the map, and sail over to Jinren Island, there you will see an electro device on a rock near the beach. Activate it, and follow the button prompts to ascend into the sky and go through a portal.

Caution: The moment you drop out of the portal, The Perpetual Mechanical Array will awaken.

Once you reach the Mechanical Array, you can begin damaging it almost immediately as the core doesn’t need to be directly exposed. The Array can also be damaged by all elements making it a pretty easy fight, especially if you are using reactions.

This does also mean that the boss doesn’t have any weaknesses though, but this won’t be a problem for you if you have a balanced team.

Perpetual Mechanical Array Fight Tips

The Mechanical Array does have several different moves, like turning into a giant sword, but all of them are generally pretty easy to dodge, and you will be able to easily identify when this boss is about to strike.

Things only get a bit complicated when the boss splits its body into four different mini enemies making the core invulnerable to damage.

When the Array splits, you can easily stun the enemies by hitting their weak points. At this point in the battle, you will want to focus on the enemy that has a health bar above its head.

Defeating this Array piece will cause all four enemies to return to the core and damage to the main body to become possible again.

Like the main body, these enemies aren’t all that hard to dodge and aren’t immune to any elements. They also won’t heal the Array, leaving the battle in stasis until the main body is reassembled.

Just keep hitting the weak points while avoiding the patterened attacks and you'll have your reward in no time.
