Luckily, this is actually one of the easiest items to find in the region, making farming a breeze, something that other specialties like Sakura Blooms will never be. The guide below is here to teach you where to find Seagrass and give you some pro tips on collecting it easily.

Where Do You Find Seagrass in Inazuma?

Seagrass, much like the name implies, can be found growing on the coast of Inazuma. It can be found in the water near the shoreline, although there are some pieces located in water just deep enough for your character to swim in. Seagrass is also one of the most plentiful plants in the game as it grows all over Inazuma, and you will likely pick up tons while just exploring the shores of the region.

So far, no characters seem to use Seagrass for ascension, but this can always change in the future. It is a cooking ingredient for two Inazuma dishes; Miso Soup and Onigiri.

Seagrass Farming Route and Tips

Seagrass can be farmed on any of the three islands and is always found dotting the shore in shallow water. There are quite a few different locations you can start farming grass at. A good rule of thumb is to start with a thick patch like the ones found on Narukami Island and then walk your way around the shore picking up more.

  • Tip: Seagrass is an excellent choice for your converter thanks to its plentiful status.

Seagrass is a plentiful resource so it’s also easy to pick up while you are looking for new chests or doing commissions. The new gardening feature also allows you to grow Seagrass inside of your teapot, although the plentiful nature of the item means that this actually could be a bad idea as you can use the plot to grow rare plants like Lotus Head. If you do wish to grow Seagrass, then you can purchase seeds from Tubby and place an Orderly Meadow plot.

Can You Buy Seagrass?

Yes, you are able to buy Seagrass in Inazuma City from a restaurant. You can purchase Seagrass from Shimura’s for 240 mora each. Shimura will have ten Seagrass at a time and his store seems like it resets daily. If you want to buy up the entirety of Shimura’s stock, it will cost you 2,400 mora. While you're at the shop, be sure to pick up the Miso Soup recipe so that you can use up some of your new stock.
