Genshin Impact is a game with many different mechanics. Alchemy is an important part of the experience as it's one of the major ways players get ascension materials. Players can combine lower-level items to make higher leave ones or make special gadgets to help them find collectibles. As your world level increases, so will the number of items that you can craft at the alchemy table.
Aside from ascension items, though, there are several items that you will want to craft whenever possible. These items can make fighting enemies much easier or help players fully level up the statue of the seven in both regions.
10/10 Portable Waypoint
The Portable Waypoint is a handy tool that is awarded for reaching level 6 in the Mondstadt Reputation System. The object can be placed anywhere in Teyvat that isn't a domain or on top of the water. It will allow the player to teleport to this location for one week before having to be replaced.
This is a great way to add-on an additional teleport point beside the Wolf of The North or Dawn Winery. Players will also place these around mining areas. You should note that only one waypoint can be active on the map at a time. Crafting a Portable Waypoint requires a single Dead Ley Line Leaves, two Luminescent Spines, and five Crystal Chunks.
9/10 Condensed Resin
Condensed Resin was a recipe added in 1.3 to help players better conserve their resin. On days that players are busy, they can convert 40 Original Resin into Condensed Resin, although only three of the latter can be held at a time. The Condensed Resin can then be stored for a later date that the player has time to sit down and play.
The recipe for Condensed Resin can be picked up by reaching Liyue Reputation level 3 in-game.
8/10 Anemoculus Resonance Stone
The Anemoculus Resonance Stone is given to players who reach reputation level 2 in Mondstadt. The item is powered by a Crystal Chunk along with two Mondstadt local specialties in Dandelions and Cecilia. Once crafted, the item can be added to the player's main menu.
The stone will be able to give the player the location of the Anemonculus that they are missing in Mondstadt. Players should note that Resonance Stones can be crafted even after all Anemoculus and Geoculus are found.
7/10 Geoculus Resonance Stone
The Geoculus Resonance Stone is given out at level 2 of Liyue's Reputation System. Like the Anemoculus Stone, it also requires two local specialties from Liyue. These specialties are Cor Lapis and Glaze Lily, making this stone a bit harder to make. A Crystal Chunk is also required.
There are more Geoculus than Anemoculus, so that stone is a great way to finish the statue of the seven in Liyue.
6/10 Heatshield Potion
Potions are one of the most valuable items that players can take into battle. The Heatshield Potion gives players 25% pyro resistance for 300 seconds. However, it does require an item related to pyro. The Flaming Flower Stamen and Butterfly Wings will be needed to make the potion, which can easily be found in Teyvat.
The Heatshield is great for dealing with the Pyro Regisvine and farming Pyro Whopperflowers.
5/10 Frostshield Potion
The Frostshield Potion gives the player 25% resistance to cryo enemies. To make the potion, players will need to gather a Crystal Core and Mist Flower Corolla. The potion became a staple in version 1.2 as Dragonspine was released and had a heavy focus on cryo enemies.
The Frostshield Potion was the difference between players succumbing to cryo damage and winning a battle in the region.
4/10 Windbarrier Potion
Generally, players won't come upon anemo enemies as often as other types. However, when fighting against the Eye of The Storm, this potion is a must. The Windbarrier Potion gives 25% resistance to all anemo attacks. This won't stop players from getting pushed around by the wind, though.
This recipe also requires a Crystal Core as well as Dandelion Seeds which are sprinkled around Mondstadt.
3/10 Dustproof Potion
The Dustproof Potion gives characters a 25% resistance to all Geo elemental attacks. This is a must when taking on Geovishaps and can help to absorb damage from the Geo Hypostasis. The potion requires the player to acquire Cor Lapis, which is spread about a bit around Liyue, making it hard to find at first. Butterfly Wings are also required.
Players needing to make this potion can check Mt. Hulao for a steady supply.
2/10 Desiccant Potion
The Desiccant Potion is highly recommended as it is one of the few things that can help players against the Oceanid. The potion reduces hydro damage by 25%, helping characters to withstand constant attacks from the hydro creatures the boss creates during the battle.
Along with Butterfly Wings, players simply need to gather Lotus Heads to make this simple potion.
1/10 Insulation Potion
This final elemental potion will help the player to withstand electro damage. The potion gives the character 25% electro resistance, which is needed when dealing with electro Fatui. This potion is what Electro Crystals are used for, which can be found in large quantities around Stormterrors Lair.
This can also be a helpful item for taking on the Childe weekly challenge and dealing with his second and third forms. This potion requires Butterfly Wings and an Electro Crystal.
