If you've been wondering where Traveler sleeps in Genshin Impact then wonder no more as, apparently, they were wild camping but it's all about to end. As thanks for all that you've done for Liyue, Madam Ping has a surprise for you; a Serenitea Pot, which contains a space for you to make your own.
However, it's not quite as simple as just picking it up. There are some requirements to meet and you'll need to locate some rare items and help out a new character. Here's how to unlock the Serenitea Pot and start settling into your brand new home.
Character Requirements To Unlock The Serenitea Pot
In order to unlock the Serenitea Pot you need to have done the following:
- Reached Adventure Rank 35
- Completed the Archon Quest, Chapter 1: Act 3: A New Star Approaches
If you've done both of these things, then you'll be able to access a new quest called "A Teapot To Call Home" which starts in Liyue.
A Teapot To Call Home
This quest begins with you going to see Madam Ping in Liyue and her talking to you about her own teapot, which you encountered previously, and how the Adepti wishes to gift one to you. She'll then mention a few rare items she still needs and then introduce you to Yanfei, who was tasked with finding them.
The quest takes a while to complete but all takes place within Liyue, where you'll discover more about Yanfei and help her out with a legal dispute. At the end of the quest chain, you'll obtain the required item and receive your very own Serenitea Pot.
How To Use The Serenitea Pot
The Serenitea Pot is a physical item that's stored in your inventory under the gadgets section. Simply navigate to it and then press the place button. You can do this almost anywhere in the world in order to place the Serenitea Pot in front of you.
Next, simply interact with it in order to be transported to your own personal home. To leave either repeat the process or simply navigate to a waypoint using your map.
Choosing A Serenitea Pot Theme
There are three different themes for the Serenitea Pot and when you first enter it you'll be asked to choose between:
- Floating Abode - A group of islands in the sky
- Emerald Peak - A mountain top in the clouds
- Cool Isle - An island surrounded by water
You'll be able to choose which theme you prefer. As you increase your trust rank, which will happen as you customize your home, you'll be able to swap between themes.
Tubby And Serenitea Pot Trust Ranks
Tubby is your guide in the Serenitea Pot and he'll help you customize and furnish your space. You'll begin with some blueprints and you'll unlock more as you build trust with him by crafting furniture.
There's also a new coin system called Realm Currency, which builds over time. This is used to purchase furniture and decor items as well as more blueprints to help you fully customize your home.
The final way to get blueprints is through the Traveling Salesman who appears each weekend.
Visiting Serenitea Pots
You can visit a friend's Serenitea Pot by simply clicking their avatar in the friends menu and requesting to visit. As with co-op requests, preferences can be set so you can automatically accept or reject requests. However, with the Serenitea Pot, your friend's world level doesn't matter, so you can visit those with a higher world level than you.
While visiting friends you can interact with Tubby to help speed up their crafting, or talk to their Traveling Salesman, who may have different items for sale.
