Dragonspine didn't waste time with introducing Genshin Impact players to unique concepts like sheer cold and the Frostbearing Tree. Leveling up the Frostbearing Tree can be an irritating process, especially since seven Crimson Agate are hidden away. While some will be naturally found by playing through the regions, others will baffle players as they strive to level-up the tree.
The guide below is designed to help you find the seven missing Crimson Agate by breaking them down into seven separate missions. These Agate do have more steps than normal, and one of them will take quite a bit of patience to get.
Crimson Agate Locations
Starglow Caverns Secret Door
After following the path to Starglow Cavern all the way to the top, players will come across a sealed stone door. In order to open the door, players will need to collect three treasure boxes around the Dragonspine map.
Opening the door will reveal one of the secret Agate as well as some treasure.
Feeding Foxes
This is the most time consuming secret Agate and can be the most frustrating out of the seven. At the bottom of the cave that leads to the Skyfrost Nail, there is an abandoned camp with a bowl. Players are able to place berries in the bowl each day to feed the local foxes.
In order to get the Crimson Agate, the player will need to feed the foxes five days in a row. This is in real-time, not in-game time.
Wall Puzzle
Right between Wyrmrest Valley and the Entombed City Outskirts, there is a wall with pressure plates around it. Standing on a pressure plate will cause a symbol on the wall to light up. The key here is that there are two corresponding sets, the first set needs to be lit before moving on to the second, or the chest won't spawn.
Each set has a different symbol; simply light all of one set up before moving on to the other four pressure plates. This is generally easy to do by noting which pressure plates are connected to which of the two wall symbols.
Find The Eight Stone Tablets
This is a long quest that spans across the entirety of the mountain. Players will need to hunt down the eight stone tablets, some of which are out in the open, while others will be hidden away behind other quests.

Defeat The Snowboar King
This is another quest that players will need to complete in order to spawn the Agate. This time players will need to start the quest Ah, Fresh Meat and then slay the Snowboar King when he spawns in the mountains.
Fly to The Lonely Island
One of the crimson agates is actually a bit far from the mountain, and without closely examining the map, many players will miss it entirely. To find it check your map; there is an island that can only be reached by gliding from the cliff above the hilichurl camp closest to Dragonspine in Dadaupa Gorge.
Before jumping off of the cliff nearest to the island though, look down to discover a cliff with scarlet quartz. You will need to break this in order to break the ice and free the crimson Agate on the island.
Flooded Cages (Cryo Required)
Down the path from the Starglow cavern entrance, there is a puzzle with cryo totems. After activating the totem, the water level will go down, revealing switches frozen in ice. Use the nearby quartz to break these and completely drain the ruin revealing cages, one of which has the hidden Agate inside.
