Getting to a new region when you're playing Genshin Impact is a fun experience that you should make the most out of. Just like with Liyue, though, there are a few things that you should do when you first arrive in Inazuma. By going ahead and finishing these tasks, you can make your time spent in the region much more rewarding.

Genshin Impact: How To Get To Inazuma

Mihoyo has put in a plethora of new features, characters, and quests, but it's up to you to find all of the new content and decide how you want to use your primogems. Below are ten things you should do after you first begin exploring Inazuma.

10/10 Visit The Sacred Sakura Tree

When you are able to get away from Ritou for the first time, you will notice a large shrine and tree situated on the tallest mountain on the island. You should go ahead and pay this tree a visit, as this will unlock the ability to donate to the Sacred Sakura Tree.

Donating to the tree gives you all types of rewards, such as primogems, electro exploration resistance, and wishes.

9/10 Unlock All Three Islands

While heavy exploring may be tempting, you should go ahead and unlock all the maps by visiting the Inazuma statue of the seven. These will let you have a good look at all three islands, as well as give you a good place to start exploring.

While Inazuma may seem like a small nation, just about every inch of the islands is packed with tons of content for you to explore.

8/10 Pick Up Local Recipes

Since you will likely make your way to Inazuma city first, you should stop by the local shops to learn some local recipes. There are restaurants in Inazuma City that sell recipes such as Miso Soup and Tuna Sushi; these are also a bit more helpful than recipes you find early in the game.

There is also a grocery store located in Inazuma City so that you can pick up some of the ingredients needed for your new dishes.

7/10 Start Figuring Out New Farming Routes

Now that there is a new region, there are new regional specialties for you to add to your weekly farming routine. These specialties are pretty easy to farm when you get your route down, and collecting them early will ensure that your future Inazuma characters can ascend easily.

In Inazuma, you can find Naku Weed, Sakura Blooms, Sea Grass, Dragon Marrow, and more.

6/10 Make Tons of Insulation Potions

You will quickly learn that Inzauma has a hazardous landscape that wants nothing more than to kill you. From shocking barriers to parts of the ground that are literally infused with electro energy, Inazuma isn't exactly going to be the easiest region for you to explore.

Luckily, you can offset some of the electro damage by making and using Insulation Potions for your travels.

5/10 Awaken The Electro Traveler

While the Traveler doesn't always get the credit they deserve, they are a pretty powerful five-star unit. This can especially be seen when you gain the power of electro after you visit your first Inazuma statue with the traveler and receive its power.

The electro Traveler is a DPS character that can make fighting enemies like the Pyro Hypostasis a breeze.

4/10 Try Out The New Electro-Mechanics

There are tons of new puzzles revolving around the electro-charged landscape of Inazuma. The second you leave Ritou, you will come across several electro barriers that will give you a look into the new puzzles. There are also electro points that will help you quickly move up cliffs.

It's best to try these out as soon as you can, as they can make life much easier in Inazuma.

3/10 Unlock The City Reputation System

Every region has its own City Reputation System, and Inazuma is no different. You can find the City Reputation Board at Ayaka's house, where you will be able to do weekly requests and bounty hunts. You will also receive rewards after leveling up the system.

It's best to get started right away so that you can do bounties and commissions as you explore.

2/10 Make a New Exploration Team

Having a hydro-based exploration team might not be the best idea in Inazuma. You will want to redo your adventure team to have characters who can help you traverse the region. Using a shield can also be helpful as it will absorb some of the damage.

You will also want to consider still having a character who can help you save your stamina.

1/10 Pick Up The Big Quests

Go ahead and indulge yourself by doing the story and character quests in Inazuma. These quests will give you a look into the upcoming characters and even let you try your hand at using Ayaka in the wild. There are also a few longer quests to pick around Inazuma City that will give you primogems.

Be sure to talk to any NPCs with quests and enjoy the interesting story points that Inazuma's vision hunt decree brings up.
