Genshin Impact is a game that likes to reward its players for exploring the world. One of the ways it does this is by placing collectible items around the map. In Inazuma's case, this is the electro sigils. These items are a bit different than their anemo and geo counterparts as they aren’t given to a jewelry shop. Instead, players will need to visit the Sacred Sakura Tree in order to redeem their rewards.
This is even more important than ever though, as donating to the tree makes exploring the Inazuma region much easier. The guide below goes over everything you need to know about the Sacred Sakura Tree and its rewards.
Updated on September 29, 2021 by Jessica Thomas: The introduction of more islands in Inazuma means that the level of the Sacred Sakura Tree has once again increased. While more updates to the tree are expected, there are currently 30 levels that you can gain rewards from. The guide below has been updated in order to provide you with the updated reward tiers for version 2.1 of Genshin Impact.
The Location Of Inazuma's Sacred Sakura Tree
The Sacred Sakura Tree is located on top of Mt. Yougou at the Grand Narukami Shrine. The tree can easily be seen from Inazuma city, and you will need to climb the path up to the shrine to gain access to it.
You will need to get out of Ritou before you can visit the tree and unlock the feature. Once you do, ensure that you activate the nearby waypoint so that you can easily turn in your electro sigils at any time.
How To Get Electro Sigils
Sigils can be gained in a few different ways in Inazuma, the most common way to get sigils in any region is by opening chests. The rarer the chest the more sigils you will get for opening it:
- Common Chest: 1-3 Sigils
- Exquisite Chest: 3-4 Sigils
- Precious Chest: 4-10 Sigils
- Luxurious Chest: 4-10 Sigils
On top of getting sigils from chests, you will get them from leveling up the Statue of the Seven in Liyue and from completing quests. The number of sigils you get with the Statue of the Seven will increase your statue level.
If you're looking to quickly farm sigils, the best strategy is to look up the location of the rarest chests in Inazuma and open them all. You can work your way down in chest rarity until you have maxed out the level of the Sacred Sakura Tree. In addition, running the one-time domains scattered around Inazuma will award you with extra sigils.
Sacred Sakura Tree Rewards
There are currently twenty levels for you to unlock with the Sacred Sakura Tree. Each level will cost you a total of 25 electro sigils and leveling the tree will also give you a resistance to the dangerous electro energy that can be found around parts of Inazuma. To reach level 30 you will need to gather 750 electro sigils in all.
