Much of the game is centered around exploration, so you’re going to run into your fair share of puzzles during your journey. While some quests will require you to solve them in order to reach a goal, others are guarding chests of wondrous treasure. Among these types of puzzles are those found on Suigetsu Pool Island.

What Is Suigetsu Pool Island?

Much of the world of Genshin Impact is split into collections of islands that all have diverse qualities. Towards the southwest corner of the map, you’ll see an area known as Watatsumi Island distinguished by a swirling mass at its center. It doesn't really have a central landmass with all of it being broken apart and disconnected.

Despite this, there are three smaller islands each located around the edge of the center. The island at the northeast of it is where the Suigetsu Pool is located. Legend has it that a whole palace lies beneath the surface, so before you can solve its mysteries, you need to find a way into its domain.

Solving The Suigetsu Pool Puzzles

Once you unlock the entrance to the domain, you’ll be able to explore the Pool Palace freely. It’s a relatively safe and empty place that may have the occasional monster wandering about. However, the two most important aspects are the Electro Totems and Relay Stones.

  • Start with the Electro Totems first. At the start of the area, you see a Blue Orb rod and metal gates on either side of the wall. Make sure to open any gates you come across by flipping their adjacent switches
  • Pray at the Rod to summon an Electro Orb. The Orb will dart through the palace ruins stopping at each Electro Totem for a few seconds. The Totems much be destroyed in sequence so make sure to keep up with the Orb and use power shots with a bow to activate the Totems
  • Once all the Totems have been activated, go to the nearby Sunset Loach to summon an Electrogaum. With that in tow, make your way to the two separate Bow Statues. Get each one to point through the gate where a Relay Stone can be seen
  • After this, the gates will open and allow you to explore the rest of the Palace to collect all the Relay Stones. Once you have them all, return to the surface
  • You’ll have to set up the stones on the ruined structure overlooking the Pool entrance. They need to be arranged in such a way that the glowing stones at the top of the stairs to the domain entrance are linked to the glowing stones on the overlooking ruins
  • From the set stone on the ruins closest to the set stones by the pool, create a beam between them by placing a stone on top of ruined walls
  • Look towards the set stone in the corner of the overlooking ruins and place a stone on the path towards it so that it’s midway between two nearby pillars. Then, use yourself as the final stone to create a link between the last one you placed and the other set stone on the overlooking ruins

At the end of all this, a chest will spawn by that set stone will a bounty of valuable goodies.
