Thoma is a fiery four-star polearm in Genshin Impact that has a heart-warming Hangout event. He is the housekeeper for the Kamisato estate and easily one of the friendliest residents of Inazuma. He is even the first person the Traveler encounters when they arrive in the region. Like most characters with a Hangout event, there are several different paths to unlock, and doing so will allow you to get to know Thoma better.
The guide below walks you through everything you need to know about starting the event and the major choices you need to make to unlock all of Thoma's endings.

Thoma's Hangout Event
The event can be unlocked by using two-story keys and will begin at the Kamisato Estate.
As you are going through the event, you will notice that there is a green checkmark next to the choices that you have already made. There are six endings in all, and each one will unlock a new set of rewards that you can claim from the quests route screen.
The Housekeeper's Other Side
The first and easiest route to get on is the Housekeepers Other Side; you simply need to choose to:
- Not agree with Thoma's reaction to the guards
You will need to acquire some Noctilucous Jade from Liyue if you don't already have one in your inventory to complete this route.
A Lingering Fragrance
This is another route that is easy to get on as it doesn't split. Simply choose the options at the beginning of Thoma's route below and you will be on the right track:
- Agree with Thoma's reaction
- Choose outdoor activities
- Choose to go to town
New Clothes!
This is a route that splits from several others, so you will need to make different choices to get this ending.
- Agree with Thoma's reaction
- Choose outdoor activities
- Choose to go see the animals
- Give the dog time to cool off
Keep in mind that if you scare the animals while feeding them or taking pictures, you will automatically fail the quest.
The Sea Breeze Carries Memories
This time you will want to choose to try to help the agitated dog:
- Agree with Thoma's reaction
- Choose outdoor activities
- Choose to go see the animals
- Go check on the dog
There will be some brief fighting with Hilichurls in this route. Once again, try to ensure that you don't use your attack around the animals.
Popular Class
This is a route that can go one of two ways depending on how you want to handle classes; for this route, choose:
- Agree with Thoma's reaction
- Indoor activities
- Spread the word
To fulfill this route, you will need to have fowl, flour, and a lavender melon.
Alone Time
For this route, simply make the opposite choice as Popular Class:
- Agree with Thoma's reaction
- Indoor activities
- Within the Yashiro Commission
This is a fun route as you do get to play as Thoma for a small amount of time.
