The only thing that can dampen the excitement of discovering a dungeon in an open world RPG like Genshin Impact is when you realize you aren't able to enter it and claim the tantalizing rewards within. Teyvat just so happens to be packed full of these initially inaccessible dungeons, including the Cecilia Garden, but just because it is locked doesn't mean you're not meant to enter it. If you want to know how to unlock the Cecilia Garden, solve it's puzzles, and get the best rewards, this is the guide for you.

How To Unlock Cecilia Garden In Genshin Impact

You can find the entrance to Cecilia Garden in the Windwail Highland area of the map to the west of Mondstadt, but if you don't meet a specific requirement, the entrance will remain shut. If your Adventure Rank isn't high enough, you can begin the puzzle to open up this Abyssal Domain. You'll notice a red ring circling the door that indicates it is locked, and only once you solve the puzzle will it disappear and let you in.

Cecilia Garden Puzzle Solution

The puzzle to open the Cecilia Garden requires you to track down four spirits and guide them back to their shrines. You have probably encountered the spirits, called Seelies, around the world prior to this and already know how they function.

Your first Seelie is already in place, but the tower it needs to be lead to is covered in stone. Just break it with an attack and it will turn into a flame to indicate that one is activated.

The second Seelie is right next to the entrance to the left near a small mob of enemies. Just hit the pillar with a wind spell to release the spirit and guide it back to the bottom left pillar at the entrance.

Third, head to the right from the entrance toward another group of enemies surrounding a spirit. Take them out to let it escape back to the pillars, setting another one alight.

The final Seelie is the most hidden of the lot. Head beyond the main doorway to the Cecilia Garden on the right side grassy area. Look for a grouping of four carrots in the ground and a purple electric crystal on the wall. Beside the crystal, you'll notice a cracked wall you can destroy. Bash it down to release the final spirit. Unlike the others, this one you actually need to make contact with before it will start heading back to the pillars.

With all four spirits in place, use your wind ability to finally open up the Cecilia Garden.

Cecilia Garden Rewards

What you can expect to get after clearing Cecilia Garden will depend on which day of the week you do it on. The only consistent rewards are Mora and Primogems, with one other material rotating at random. Here's how the main rewards rotate:

  • Monday and Thursday: Tile of Decarabian’s Tower, Debris of Decarabian’s City, Fragment of Decarabian’s Epic, and Scattered Piece of Decarabian’s Dream
  • Tuesday and Friday: Boreal Wolf’s Milk Tooth, Boreal Wolf’s Cracked Tooth, Boreal Wolf’s Broken Fang, and Boreal Wolf’s Nostalgia
  • Wednesday and Saturday: Bonds of the Dandelion Gladiator, Chains of the Dandelion Gladiator, Shackles of the Dandelion Gladiator, and Dream of the Dandelion Gladiator
  • Sunday: All rewards.

If you really want to maximize your time, waiting until Sunday to tackle this Abyssal Domain is by far the most optimal time in terms of resources.
