Genshin Impact 1.3 is finally available, and if you’re like us then you’re probably scouring the entirety of Teyvat to complete as much of the new content as possible, and just one of the brand new quests you can tackle is the Tianqiu Treasure Trail world quest that you receive from Lan in Liyue.
Lan has run into a few problems and needs you to help solve them, which is fine, as you’re a competent and skilled traveller who has been around Teyvat once or twice by this point. In this guide we’re going to break down exactly where you need to go and what you need to do in order to complete this new quest, from where to start it, to where to finish.

How To Start The Tianqiu Treasure Trail Quest In Genshin Impact
You will be able to begin the quest by talking to Lan, who stands outside of the Adventurer’s Guild in Liyue - once in Liyue you will easily be able to find the guild on the South side of the harbour by looking for the compass icon on the map. If Lan doesn’t have a quest symbol above her head, this could be because you are not the correct rank.
You must reach Adventure Rank 31 to take on the Tianqiu Treasure Trail quest, which is a fairly high rank for a world quest - but it makes sense, as it hides the new Parametric Transformer gadget, which is great for ascending and levelling up characters when you reach the late-game.
How To Complete The Tianqiu Treasure Trail World Quest In Genshin Impact
Once you’ve begun the quest, head over to the waypoint on your map, which will be near the Dunyu Ruins. Beat down the gang of monsters that are wandering nearby, and they will drop a treasure map for you to use to complete the rest of the quest.
Head over to where the X is on your newly found map, and you’ll locate a small campsite. Analyse the area properly and you’ll come across a Ruins Investigation Log and a Strange Note, which will help you find your next objective.
Once you’ve read the Strange Note you’ll have three waypoints appear on your map, which is the easy part. Just head over to each of the waypoints, defeat the enemies you find there, and then take the loot from the chests they’re guarding.
Once you’ve been to each of the locations and looted all of the chests, it’s time to return to Lan, who will finally offer up the Parametric Transformer for you to, um, transform items, in addition to 30k Mora, which is also a decent gift.
