Xiao's Ascension Materials

Additionally, every Genshin Impact character needs 8,362,650 EXP to reach the maximum level of 90. A significant majority of this EXP will likely come from EXP materials. You can use these in various combinations, but this one will get you there with only a bit leftover:

Xiao's Talent Materials

These materials will allow you to upgrade one of Xiao's Talents to level 10. If you're planning on upgrading all three of Xiao's talents, you'll need three times the number of materials listed above.

Where To Find Xiao's Ascension And Talent Materials

Vayuda Turquoise

Vayuda Turquoise Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones are mostly obtained from daily commissions and bosses. The following bosses will drop Vayuda Turquoise materials, with more materials dropping at higher world levels.

  • Anemo Hypostasis
  • Maguu Kenki
• Weekly Bosses
  • Stormterror

We recommend farming the Anemo Hypostasis boss for Vayuda Turquoise materials. Obtaining rewards from this boss will cost 40 Original Resin, so come prepared.

Qingxin

Qingxin is a Liyue specialty plant that can be found atop the highest mountains. The areas of Minlin and Wuwang Hill are hotspots for these plants. Herbalist Gui, the pharmacist at Bubu Pharmacy, will also sell you Qingxin. He stocks ten of them every three days, and they cost 600 Mora each. Lastly, you can grow them in your Serenitea Pot.

Slime Condensate, Secretions, and Concentrate

Slime materials can be obtained by defeating slimes around Teyvat. Slimes can be found almost anywhere, so you shouldn't have too much trouble with these.

Juvenile Jade

Juvenile Jade is a boss drop that you can obtain by defeating the Primo Geovishap in Liyue. You'll need quite a few of this material, so be prepared to fight this boss a high number of times. As with other world bosses, it costs 40 Original Resin to open the boss's rewards after defeating it.

Teachings, Guides, and Philosophies of Prosperity

Prosperity Talent books can be obtained from the Taishin Mansion Domain on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday. You'll need either 20 Original Resin or one Condensed Resin to obtain rewards after clearing out this Domain.

Shadow of the Warrior

To upgrade Xiao's talents from levels seven to 10, you'll need Shadows of the Warrior. This material can be obtained from the weekly Golden House Domain, in which you must defeat Childe. Additionally, you can convert his other rare drops into Shadow of the Warrior using Dream Solvent.

Crown of Insight

Finally, to upgrade Xiao's talents to level 10, you'll need a total of three Crowns of Insight. These can only be obtained from major time-limited events, or by giving offerings to the Sacred Sakura, Frostbearing Tree, and Lumenstone Adjuvant. Come back to the game around major updates for a chance to score a Crown of Insight.
