What's wonderful about the world of gaming is that you don't need a reason to combine properties. There are multiple popular instances where characters have crossed over into other game universes to participate in competitions and adventures.
The most well-known is the Super Smash Bros. series which is a huge crossover bonanza, but other titles have followed suit. No one expected the Aloy from the Horizon Zero Dawn series would appear in Genshin Impact, but she has gone on to become one of the more popular characters to run. She brings a lot of her trademark skills with her, but she could use the right companions to help her adapt.
Who Is Aloy?
The world of Horizon Zero Dawn takes place on an Earth far in the future where major civilization has collapsed, and wild robots roam the land. Humans are still around but have returned to living in small clans and tribal communities where many of them try to live with nature.
It is here where a young woman named Aloy grew up and learned to hunt and survive in this new world while also gaining a piece of old technology to better understand the mechanical beasts. She has since arrived in Genshin Impact as an Archer who wields the Cryo element. Her attacks and abilities allow her to serve as a good DPS while aiding in exploration, but that's pretty much it.
Best Team For Aloy
Since Aloy is focused entirely on attacking and boosting damage, she needs members that can capitalize on this as well as support her.
Raiden Shogun
When it comes to shocking party members, this polearm user ranks highly among them. Since Aloy's abilities are tailored towards consecutive strikes and immobilizing opponents, Raiden can take advantage of that while boosting her. This comes from using Baleful Omen to grant an Eye Of Stormy Judgment. When Aloy has this, her attack will be accompanied by additional Electro AoE attacks and her Elemental Burst damage will increase.
Sucrose
It's always good to take a scholar along on your adventure and this Catalyst-wielder is a great pick. Her passive crafting skill is a good complement to Aloy's passive hunting, but her support comes from boosting elements. Aloy attacks are heavily Cryo and Sucrose can create a Wind Spirit using Forbidden Creation that feeds off elemental energy and applies additional damage while hurling enemies around. She can also use Catalyst Conversion to trigger a Swirl effect which can raise Aloy's Elemental Mastery by 50 points for a few seconds.
Diona
One of the best healers in the game, Diona is a great selection to accompany Aloy's journey. Being a fellow Cryo and Bow-user, Diona can take advantage of Aloy's freezing abilities to make the most of her attacks. However, her biggest strength comes from her abilities Icy Paws and Signature Creation. Icy Paws allows for a shield to be generated around Aloy that provides damage absorption based on Diona's max HP offering strong protection. Signature Creation deals with an AoE attack that creates a Drunken Mist to heal Aloy when she stands in it. On top of that, Cat Tail's Secret Menu can boost the Icy Paws shield, so it raises Aloy's speed and reduces her stamina consumption.
