The Spindrift Knight of Genshin Impact, Eula Lawrence, might not be particularly popular amongst the residents of Mondstadt, but she's certainly a favorite character amongst fans. Most characters in Genshin Impact are leaked or teased ahead of time, but Eula came as a welcome surprise to everybody. Now, Eula continues to be an absolute powerhouse on the battlefield, exacting revenge upon any enemies (and friends) who cross her.

Eula is a five-star Cryo character who wields a claymore with deadly precision and icy elegance. She remains Genshin Impact's premier Physical DMG dealer, largely forgoing Elemental Reactions in favor of raw, hard-hitting attacks that will surely put a dent in any type of enemy. If you want to optimize Eula's damage and see her dance destructively across the battlefield, look no further than this build guide.

Best Weapons For Eula

Weapon Name Base ATK Secondary Stat Passive Ability
Luxurious Sea-Lord 41 ATK Eula's Elemental Burst DMG is increased by 12%. When Eula's Elemental Burst hits opponents, it will summon an onrush of tuna that deals 100% of Eula's ATK as AoE DMG. This effect can occur once every 15s.
Serpent Spine 42 Crit Rate For every 4s Eula is on the field, she will deal 6% more DMG and take 3% more DMG. This effect can stack up to 5 times and will not reset if Eula leaves the field, but 1 stack will be lost each time Eula takes DMG.
Snow-Tombed Starsilver 44 Physical DMG Bonus When Eula hits an opponent with a Normal or Charged Attack, there is a 60% chance that an Everfrost Icicle will form and drop, dealing AoE DMG equal to 80% of Eula's ATK. If the opponents are affected by Cryo, the Everfrost Icicle will deal DMG equal to 200% of Eula's ATK instead. This effect can occur once every 10s.
Song of Broken Pines 49 Physical DMG Bonus Eula's ATK is increased by 16%. When Eula's Normal or Charged Attacks hit opponents, she gains a Sigil of Whispers. When Eula possesses 4 Sigils of Whispers they will be consumed, granting Eula and all nearby party members 12% increased Normal ATK SPD and 20% increased ATK for 12s. Once this effect is triggered, Eula cannot gain Sigils of Whispers for 20s.

Although it may look goofy, the Luxurious Sea-Lord is a formidable weapon choice for Eula. This seaworthy sword was available during a limited-time event, but any player who acquired it back then should consider equipping it on Eula. The direct bonus to Eula's Elemental Burst DMG is the real selling point here, although the weapon's fishy appearance and tuna-surge effect are amusingly compelling.

Serpent Spine is the ace in the hole for almost any claymore-wielder in Genshin Impact, assuming you purchased it from the game's Battle Pass. Its stat distribution is excellent and its passive effect makes many five-star weapons jealous. This claymore is Eula's best four-star choice if you have it.

Snow-Tombed Starsilver is a great claymore for Eula if you don't have access to the two listed above. It can be obtained for free through a Dragonspine Quest and later by Forging. The Physical DMG Bonus complements Eula's skill set, while the icicle effect can benefit from Eula's minor Cryo application.

Eula is greedy for ATK, meaning that any five-star claymore will be extremely effective on her. The best of the best, though, is her signature weapon, Song of Broken Pines. This claymore has exceptionally high Base ATK and a passive that lets Eula gain more stacks during her Burst, increasing her overall damage output significantly.

Best Artifacts For Eula

Artifact Set Name Two-Piece Set Bonus Four-Piece Set Bonus
Pale Flame Physical DMG Bonus +25% When Eula's Elemental Skill hits an opponent, her ATK is increased by 9% for 7s. This effect stacks up to 2 times. Once 2 stacks are reached, Eula's Physical DMG Bonus is increased by an additional 25%.
Bloodstained Chivalry Physical DMG Bonus +25% After defeating an opponent, Eula's Charged Attack DMG is increased by 50%, and its Stamina cost is reduced to 0 for 10s.

Artifact Set Analysis

Four pieces of Pale Flame is Eula's best Artifact set as long as you can maintain full uptime on its four-piece effect. This isn't hard to do when you are only tapping Eula's Skill, but holding Eula's Skill leaves it with a ten-second cooldown, which is too long to sustain Pale Flame's four-piece bonus.

If you're using this full set, don't use Eula's Hold Skill until the end of her Burst combo. Alternatively, if you want to use her Hold Skill earlier, make sure you follow it up with her Burst in order to reset her Skill's cooldown.

Equipping Eula with two pieces of Pale Flame and two pieces of Bloodstained Chivalry is a solid alternative that requires no cooldown management. You'll sacrifice a little damage compared to the full Pale Flame set, but the ease of use might be worth it for you.

Four pieces of Bloodstained Chivalry are not recommended for Eula since their effect is highly conditional and she rarely uses her Charged Attacks.

Artifact Stats

Anyone with experience building a Main DPS character in Genshin Impact can probably guess what Eula's preferred Artifact main stats are: ATK% Sands, Physical DMG Bonus Goblets, and Crit Rate/DMG Circlets. This is more or less the standard setup for a team's main damage dealer, with the Physical DMG Bonus Goblet reflecting Eula's primary DMG type.

Eula's Artifact sub-stats should focus mainly on Crit Rate/DMG, ATK%, and Energy Recharge. It's easy to forget about Energy Recharge when building Eula, but her Burst is a critical part of her kit that you'll want to be available as much as possible.

Damage-oriented characters in Genshin Impact generally benefit from a one-to-two ratio of Crit Rate to Crit DMG. This is usually the case for Eula as well, but some players prefer to index extremely heavily into Crit DMG and simply restart fights until her Burst gets lucky enough to Crit. This playstyle is decidedly inconsistent, but it can be fun if you want to see some impressive damage numbers.

Eula's Talents And Constellations

Eula's Talents

Eula's Burst represents a major portion of her overall damage, but she'll also be using a lot of Normal Attacks to charge it up. Therefore, her Normal Attacks and Burst can be leveled up highly and equally.

Eula's Skill is important for acquiring Grimheart stacks and reducing opponents' RES, but its scaling is pretty lackluster. As such, you can level this ability last.

Eula's Constellations

If you're willing to fork over some extra Primogems to acquire Eula's Constellations, there are a few powerful surprises awaiting you.

Eula's C1 is excellent, essentially granting Eula a permanent 30 percent Physical DMG increase just by using her Skill properly.

Eula's C2 decreases the cooldown of her Hold Skill to match her Tap Skill. While this typically doesn't affect her combos, it makes it much easier for you to maintain Pale Flame's four-piece effect.

Eula's third and fifth Constellations increase the levels of her Burst and Skill, respectively. C3 is thus much for valuable than C5.

C4 increases Eula's Lightfall Sword DMG against opponents with less than 50 percent HP. This bonus is certainly better than nothing, but Eula often deletes opponents from full health anyway.

Finally, Eula's C6 massively increases the number of stacks she can generate while charging up her Burst. This Constellation is incredibly powerful, and is perhaps one of the strongest C6's in the game. If you want your Eula to break damage records, this Constellation is where you should look.
