Genshin Impact's cast often stars extremely rare and limited five-star characters with unique designs, important lore, and powerful, game-changing abilities. These characters are pretty hard to get, unless you're strategically spending your primogems or actually buying them with real money.
Luckily, Genshin also features plenty of four-star characters who are not only permanent, but much easier to get on the limited and regular banners. Rosaria is one such character, a unique, Cryo polearm user with a focus on critical attacks. Cryo is a unique element with plenty of potential for elemental reactions, so if you're thinking of building a team around Rosaria, you're in luck. Here are the best characters to use in a Rosaria team composition.
7/7 Fischl
Fischl is truly a broken four-star character, and for a lot of reasons. She's an Electro archer, and with Rosaria, she can aid in creating Superconduct. But there's a lot more to Fischl than that. Besides being able to deal substantial damage in her own right, Fischl has a powerful Elemental Skill with a very short cooldown time.
Fischl's Elemental Skill has a cooldown of about one second, so you can constantly use it to deal Electro damage with virtually no delays in between. She summons her raven, Oz, onto the field to deal the damage, so you can switch her out with Rosaria and use Cryo attacks while the Electro damage continues, making it very easy to reliably set up Superconduct attacks again and again.
6/7 Beidou
Beidou is a hard-hitting and great Electro character. She uses a claymore as her weapon, and thanks to her Element, she's a good alternative for Fischl if you choose to use her instead.
Beidou's Elemental Skill allows you to absorb some damage and counter as a response with Electro damage. This lets you fight back and get hurt less, and combining this with Rosaria's abilities once again makes Superconduct viable.
5/7 Chongyun
If you're looking to really lean into Cryo on your team, then Chongyun is a great four-star choice. He's fun to use and can be a good DPS or Sub-DPS, depending on how you build him.
Chongyun's constellations let you shorten his skill cooldown times, which are great because Chongyun's Elemental Skill converts physical damage in an area into Cryo damage, which can work when you're swapping between him, Rosaria, and a third party member to create reactions. However, even without his constellations, he's great to use for juggling reactions when Rosaria's skills are on cooldown or if she needs healing.
4/7 Xingqiu
A lot of players consider Xingqiu, along with Fischl, to be one of the most powerful characters in the game, including five-stars. He's incredibly versatile, powerful, and works on most teams. He's a good Sub-DPS with support potential through his healing abilities which are built into his skills.
Xingqiu's skills let you spread Hydro even when you switch him out with another character, similar to how Fischl's Elemental Skill works. This can be great for making freeze comps with Rosaria. Plus, Xingqiu has good attack and defense stats, so he is a solid character in his own right.
3/7 Diona
Another Cryo character you could use on your team, Diona is a bow-wielding character who can help spread Cryo for your reactions while also providing support to your team, and it's with those support capabilities that she shines.
Diona's skills allow her to heal your characters while also providing shields. A cool quirk her shields provide is increased movement speed, which can help if you're in a particularly difficult fight that involves staying on your toes a lot. Of course, since she's also a Cryo character, she and Rosaria on the same team would once again provide you with an increased critical rate, so she's a great support character choice.
2/7 Xiangling
Xiangling is one of the free characters you can get in Genshin Impact simply by completing a few floors of the Spiral Abyss. She's a powerful DPS character who can help you create Melt reactions thanks to her Pyro attacks.
If you're looking to build a team around Melt reactions, she can be ideal. Her Elemental Burst creates a tornado of flames which you can use on enemies that have already been imbued with Cryo to deal massive amounts of damage.
1/7 Barbara
If you don't have Diona, or haven't built her, or don't want to use her for whatever other reason, Barbara is a great support character option too. She's one of the game's free characters, so you don't have to worry about not having summoned her. If you can max out her constellations, she even offers an auto-revive ability, which can be invaluable in challengers such as the Spiral Abyss.
Barbara's Elemental Skill heals characters periodically when you switch her out with another character, and it also encircles them in musical notes made of Hydro. So, every enemy that your active character approaches while this is active lets you inflict them with Hydro. Combine this with Rosaria's Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, and you'll be freezing your opponents left and right.
