Genshin Impact's world continues to expand with each update, and there's no shortage of events to complete, enemies to fight, and secrets to unlock. With each update, Genshin Impact offers a five-star character banner. These characters are usually highly coveted and powerful, such as Ayaka and the Raiden Shogun.

However, there's also plenty of four-star characters in the game that shouldn't be underestimated. In fact, a lot of four-star characters are powerful enough to compete with five-star ones, and a lot of them are easier to build since they're more accessible. Beidou, one of the most coveted four-star characters, is powerful, versatile, and can hold her own. You probably already have her, too. Here are some of the best potential team members for Beidou, so you'll always be ready to take on whatever challenges the game throws at you.

10/10 Xingqiu

Easily another one of the best characters in Genshin Impact, Xingqiu is a serious Hydro powerhouse. Fast, light, and with a good defence stat, Xingqiu spreads Hydro easily with his Raincutter swords, even when switched out with another character. You can use him to set up Electro-Charged reactions with Beidou.

Even when you're not setting up reactions, Xingqiu's strong enough to stand up against enemies when your main DPS needs a breather. His high defence stat means he won't fall to enemies too easily.

9/10 Diona

Diona is a great healer, but she's also so much more than that. This pint-sized catgirl can serve so many purposes on your team, so she's just as versatile as Beidou.

Being a Cryo character, Diona offers you the ability to create Superconduct reactions by combining her element with Beidou's Electro abilities. Diona's healing ability can also help keep Beidou in top fighting condition, and when you're not focused on healing, you can use Diona's shield to keep yourself going.

8/10 Fischl

Similar to Xingqiu, Fischl is another one of those four-star characters whose capabilities cannot be understated. Fischl is a fast attacking Electro archer, and her Elemental Skill has an incredibly short cooldown. You can use her to rapid-fire her skill and build up energy for herself and Beidou. This helps Beidou do the most damage possible, so you're always using her at her best.

Since Fischl is an electro character, having her and Beidou on your team means you can activate Elemental Resonance. When you have two Electro characters on your team, you have increased resistance to Hydro and reactions generate Electro particles. With Fischl and Beidou on your team, you can build Beidou into the best DPS possible, so definitely have her around.

7/10 Kaeya

Being a free character is part of Kaeya's charm, since he's so accessible and everyone has him. Fortunately, he's also a great character in his own right, with decent DPS capabilities and great Elemental Skills. Kaeya is an excellent Sub-DPS, since his element pairs nicely with Beidou's Electro, but it can also work well with any Hydro team members you might have, such as Xingqiu or Barbara, who we'll get to in a bit.

Kaeya's freezing Elemental Burst also pairs incredibly well with Beidou's Burst. His Burst persists even after switching him out with someone else, so you could definitely activate his Burst, bring in Beidou, and then activate hers, creating a swirl of constant, punishing Superconduct damage.

6/10 Barbara

A great healer who is easy to build and accessible too, Barbara can offer excellent healing and Hydro to your team. She's easy to build because the ideal weapon for her is a three-star tome called Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. Equipping this lets you swap Barbara out with a character of your choice, giving that character an attack boost for a few seconds. This lets Barbara play multiple roles.

Barbara's healing abilities are great in part because they let you create elemental reactions. When activating her Elemental Skill, musical notes circle around her and heal your allies as Barbara attacks. You can switch to another character and keep the Hydro notes, healing your active character periodically but also affecting any enemy that touches the notes with Hydro. This can make it easier for you to freeze enemies if you have Kaeya on your team, or cause Electro-Charged reactions with Beidou. Barbara's Elemental Burst can also come in handy in a pinch, as it does burst healing on all your characters so you can focus on dishing out the damage.

5/10 Sucrose

Sucrose is a fantastic Anemo character. She's a great Sub-DPS or Support character, depending on how you build her, and either build works well in a team for Beidou. Sucrose's Anemo abilities can help amplify your elemental reactions and attacks, thanks to Anemo's Swirl capabilities. On top of that, she has an extremely useful Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.

Sucrose's Elemental Skill and Burst both create vortexes that pull the enemy in towards them. This is great for controlling mobs while you use your DPS characters to deal damage to them, but it's also great for larger enemies. It amplifies damage and can keep enemies in one place while you activate Beidou's burst and put your opponents in their place.

4/10 Noelle

Noelle is another one of Genshin Impact's free characters, and being a Geo user, you might think she's not too useful. However, Noelle is a great all-rounder who can deal immense amounts of damage, support your team, and do everything in between. She's a claymore user like Beidou, meaning she specializes in dealing heavy strikes.

Her Elemental Skill shields her and allows for healing too. You can build her defence stat and her shield will automatically activate if she's in the party and the active character's HP drops below a certain threshold.

3/10 Xinyan

Xinyan is another claymore user, but this time, they use Pyro. What makes Xinyan great is that she can hold her own against whatever you throw at her, and with Pyro, she can work really well with Beidou to cause Overloaded reactions.

Xinyan can also provide a shield for your primary DPS, Beidou, and her Elemental Burst does AOE damage. The Burst, combined with Beidou's skills, can cause absolutely massive reactions that can level mobs in moments.

2/10 Zhongli

Though Zhongli is a five-star character, if you've managed to summon him, you're in luck. The Geo Archon is a great party member for pretty much any team, and being on a team with Beidou is no exception.

Zhongli can offer support to your Beidou through his Elemental Skill, which provides a great shield for your characters. His burst is also fantastic, doing AOE damage while also petrifying all enemies caught in the line of fire for a precious few seconds.

1/10 Bennett

If you don't want a dedicated healer on your Beidou team, Bennett is a solid option. He's a great Sub-DPS with fast attacks and a quick charging Elemental Skill that lets you inflict Pyro on enemies. He's also multipurpose, with his attacks and Elemental Burst offering support capabilities.

Bennett's Elemental Burst serves two purposes: it creates a circle on the ground and heals characters in the area until they're at a certain HP threshold. This can be useful for maintaining the HP of your characters in difficult situations. It also offers an attack boost to characters in the circle who are healed enough. This can make your Beidou go the extra mile with her DPS output.
